In search of Crème brûlée
Hi all,
Just trying to find the best in the area. I’m also willing to travel to other neighborhoods!
Thank you in advance

I have a MSCS and I’ve never written a line of code for the 3 companies I’ve been an SE for over the last 10 years. Aside from doing it for fun.
However just had an interview for a role advertised as SE where they wanted me to go into the clients implementation tool and assess the code to make sure it was implemented properly.
I stopped and asked if this was implementation or presales and he assured me it was presale and then continued to ask me to assess the implementation….
Have you ever seen anything like this?
Playing with 3 randoms. First hole ball is 2 feet out - guy hits it back to me. I say I like to finish out the ball back and putt.
This happened 8 more times…
Even happened for birdie twice.
All the times I would put the ball back to where I thought it was and put it out saying “sorry I like to finish the holes let me finish them”. They even did it on 18 when I was finishing with a bogey. After all the prior times. Am I bugging or is this chaotic behavior??
Edit: forgot to mention the guy LITERALLY picked up my ball on the first fairway because he thought it was a random ball… I had to have him bring it back and show me where it was.
Edit 2: To everyone saying I’m slow we finished the round in 3:45 while waiting on every tee box on the group ahead of us. Speed was not the problem here.
Yes he’s a terrible person and annoying. But honestly he plays some cool courses and explains his thought process. I kinda wish there was more content like this from pros and people who are very skilled (other than Grant)
Now feel free to ridicule me all you want but watching a pro play a course I’ve played before is pretty cool.
This is the view from the 18th tee box
Most people take pride in being sarcastic. However Sarcasm is simply expressing negative emotions indirectly. It’s used to test boundaries, deflect vulnerability and poke fun while disguising it as a “joke”.
At its core it’s a defense mechanism for negative emotions that you may even think are true. It’s a sign of immaturity NOT a sign of intelligence. I would argue the more intelligent you are, the more you realize that being nice and in touch with your emotions makes people like you more. which is a smarter way to get through life and deal with negative thoughts or feelings.
Disagree all you want but I see it the same as BDSM. If you use sarcasm with clear boundaries in place and knowing that if you go too far there’s a safe space to stop, then it’s okay. But being sarcastic to people you don’t know just makes you an asshole.
Been wanting to go to Canada or Michigan to golf now that summer is almost here. Only problem is I have no friends who golf.
How do you guys find friends who golf?
Or are there any services that offer golf trips?
Thank you all in advance.
