What if the Curse of dreadbear DLC was what helped Vanessa lock them behind the door?

Ive heard of the theory that the curse of dreadbear DLC was an Anti-virus for glitchtrap, and I think that makes decent sense. the game over screen cam serve as a double entendre of the dlc containing Glitchtrap like how TOYSNHK contained William.

though i havent really heard the idea go beyond that, does this do anything to glitchtrap? I think most people assumed it did nothing, but I think this DLC probably Helped Vanessa in some way, containing Glitchtrap enough for her to probably gain some sort of control over herself. Possibly being what lead to the split personality she seems to be having with Vanny.

she even says it herself in the therapy CDs that she ‘locked him away’ when did this happen? I think Curse of dreadbear Is most likely where.

also it seems like the Game over TV screens in curse of dreadbear might be either Vanessa’s thoughts or someone trying to speak to her, possibly M1, not sure.

thats about all I wanted to say.

If MM is meant to take place on the same night Charlie died and possessed the puppet, what if this is related to GGGL?

this is an idea I had in mind recently. why would scott imply that something else happened in the night Charlie died?

most people went with this being the thing C.C. saw, Charlie’s dead body in the alleyway. but with Charlie87 the idea really narrows it down to it being Micheal unless if we’re going with a CCBot or that the bite of 83 was actually later than we thought.

so that begs the question, whats the point of Micheal being led somewhere right after her death?

after thinking about it, I can only really guess that it’s to show he did something with the puppet that night.

and I think the event that only really makes sense to be a by product of that, is GGGL.

my guess about what Micheal could’ve contributed here is the gifts the puppet gave, and I think those were the plushies CC had when he died, and that this was how he got tangled up with the MCI.

I think this idea sorta uses all the things MM sets up, that the mound in the woods is relevant probably because that’s CCs grave, and Micheal went there for something. I sorta think Moon.exe shows something similar with M2 getting the owl out of Monty’s jaws, which to me seems like an allegory of them getting DaviD’s spirit.

and after that they went to juniors/fnaf 2 to help the puppet do GGGL. though the only ‘evidence’ I have for that is, again, the parallel of Moon.exe, where the protag helps the which at the cabin fix three masks, like how the puppet helps the MCI and puts the heads of the animatronics on their bodies. and after that, the witch gives out a fourth mask, like How GF only appears after the puppet gives the other heads to the MCI.

how on earth would Micheal know to do this? I dunno. why would he? I’m not sure. this is just the best guess I could make here.

I think some version of the puppet caused the fallfest fire

this is mostly under the assumption that Dreadbear is specifically representing Fiona here.

so in HW we see dreadbear go into a building, and in the carousel level see that the fire started from a building and grew to consume the carousel. this implies that Dreadbear prob caused the fire in the building.

and I think Fazerblast is hinting that something like puppet made Dreadbear cause the fire.

the puppet‘s box appears above dreadbear on the level the fire happens, and is actively holding their arm down the whole minigame. this causes it so that when the player gets a high enough score, Dreadbear’s arm springs free, causing the sequence that starts the fire.

I think the imagery here could imply that something like the puppet combined with Fiona’s own actions caused the fire, leading to her dying in whatever the building represents.

Crack theory: Elizabeth was secretly in control of the puppet in this minigame and planned to kill Charlie. That’s why Scott decided to imply the puppet originated as a Funtime!

a silly idea I had with how the puppet was seemingly constantly trying to find Charlie Specifically Even when she wasn’t locked outside.

and the eyes… green like ELIZABETH’S!!! coincidence? I think Not!

what was the puppet going to do if it saw Charlie before she was outside? Maybe it’s a killbot that was going to get orchestrated by Circus baby to kill her… i dont actually believe that of course XD

What do you guys think this monster in the closet of Moon.exe is meant to represent? If it means anything at all

a part of me wants to say that this thing might represent the murderous part of M2, but… that feels wrong to me for many reasons, but i can’t really think of what else it could be.

the monster doesn’t attack us when we get the hedgehog mask from the closet (and the way its shown almost looks like the monster gave it to us).

It seems like Fnaf AR had the idea of the carnival DLC in mind from the very beginning, and I think it’s definitely another allusion to fallfest

The ‘admit one’ was in the second ever teaser for Fnaf AR.

also I think the carnival DLC sorta supports the idea that Mystic hippo was at fallfest too, since there’s a fortune teller booth with solitaire cards on it.

I think there’s a secret mechanic regarding how possessions work, I think a spirit gradually goes unconscious and inert in their vessel until it’s hit with new emotional energy/ more remnant

this idea initially spawned from how in the frights Books, the objects Jake and Andrew possessed seemed to be completely inert when Phineas got them, and Jake doesn’t even remember a single thing before he woke up as the stitchwraith, not even that the stitchwraith killed Phineas, because otherwise I doubt he wouldve went ahead and touched the guy unloading the truck. Andrew also seems the to barely remember what happened to him after Fetch broke down in a storm.

and in the epilogues, the stitchwraith only turns on after Phineas puts enough emotional energy into the endo Jake and Andrew are attached to. Which implies that this helped to ‘awaken‘ the two.

we also see with William that a spirit can use agony as their own strength, since William gathers all the agony imbued onieces in Phineas’ lab, and Eleanor, an agony being, supplied him with a majority of his power there, the agony.

So that’s one instance of it, but I think we see something similar in the games too, mainly in SL.

Dialogue from the workers on night 4 implies that the funtimes break down often, weird often, and that when This happens they’re brought to the scooping room, presumably to get fixed.

while most people think that the funtimes breaking down happens whenever they grab and kill a child, and that the scooper is meant to extract that remnant.

im of the belief that this it’s the opposite, that the scooper is specifically injecting them with remnant to ‘empower’ them, revitalizing the MCI spirits inside them.

i think what happened is that the MCI were probably brought to life inside the costumes around Fnaf 2 due to multiple reasons, but as for why this happened, I think it was thanks to the agony of the DCI.

in the games I think the MCI managed to keep going due to them killing a few nightgaurds and ralph before the place closed By years end, and before they fully ran out of power, William took their endos and brought them to CBEAR.

and i think the implication in the games is that SL, Fnaf 3, and FFPS happen soon after each other, so the spirits would probably have enough time to last until FFPS.

and this could be a stretch, but I think molten Freddy’s eye could indicate how much power they have left. in the alleyway shot it’s yellow, when they jumpscar Micheal the salvage minigame it’s orange, and in the vents it’s red. I think the progression of yellow to red could be seen as indicating the energy is running dry.

I think this detail could also explain why William made the Shreddy fazchair in the fnaf 1 movie, I think it was to keep the MCI’s spirits revitalized with Agony. And I think that’s why they just seem to power down and seemingly move on in the second movie, they haven’t been given any agony to power them, so their last stand to protect Abby took the last of their strength, and thus, they powered down. (though you could argue that the power drain security system at the first location was at the second location too, but that doesnt explain why the GF kid suddenly loses the strength to hold William back)

The only continuity I’m not sure about this rule existing in is the novels, though we don’t really see What william did with the MCI before the events of the story there.

that’s about it I think, i hope this idea makes a decent amount of sense.

A sort of nothing burger post, but I find it funny how there’s seemingly implications that almost EVERY group of animatronics were at fallfest.

so starting off, HW curse of Dreadbear sorta hints that the withereds were there since the DLC heavily shows them off on the title screen.

along with vaugely implying the rest of the nightmare animatronics were involved with how they’re fully introduced into the game with Curse of dreadbear, along with Grimm foxy being a flaming version of nightmare foxy.

and in HW2 it’s implied the toys were also there thanks to the carousel level.

and there’s an image of the freddy and friend’s on tour characters at a fallfest

and that possibly even the rockstars were there thanks to carnie being heavily associated with lefty and a fallfest attraction.

literally the only groups that hasn't been associated with fallfest is the funtimes and the phantoms.

I think the shadow puppet is now meant to be nightmarrionne, and that the reason why it’s so big is because it’s technically the oldest agony creature in the series, thus is probably consumed the most of it.

I also think that this could then suggest that some strand of the mimic code was around during the clickteam era, since nightmarrionne seems to mostly be inherently connected to the mimic code, with how glitchtrap influence makes things look like nightmarrionn.

and that maybe CC came into contacr with the mimic code at some point, since this thing, which could be nightmarrionne, is copying his death pose.

also I think that gives extra new meaning to how the Cake needed to save all the other MCI is here, and the imagery of Mangle going up to moon could even be brought back to how Nightmarrionne in security breach is tied to moon Thanks to us getting a plush of them in a room behind a bunch of moon imagery.

I got inspired after seeing a timeline post today, so here’s my attempt at one with how I think William did things (without visual aid, sorry)

So after the bite of 83 and CCs death, I believe William concocted some sort of plan starting with the nightmare chambers.

so I think it’s around 1984-5 when William finishes making the bunker for Circus baby’s pizza world, specifically to make the fnaf 4 testing chambers. and I think the funtimes were just meant to kidnap children for the bunker.

at this stage I think William was most likely trying to research agony, since Dittophobia implies the nightmare rooms were meant to research fear. and I think he specifically intended to try and recreate something that probably happened with CC.

but before he could’ve done literally anything with that, Elizabeth died and possessed Circus baby in 1985 January 7th, and I think this made William pivot into trying out this form of possession, and commit the MCI, finishing it around june 26 by luring the last two kids before he was caught, but let go due to lack of evidence.

from what Toy chica’s highschool years implies, William was specifically trying to find ‘the special one’ but none of the MCI, nor even Charlie, gave him what he was looking for in the end, so the MCI was a complete failure in his eyes.

when the Fnaf 2 location opened up, I believe he started working there in secret and decided to go back to the agony idea, mainly by killing the DCI and having their agony infect the building instead of having them directly possess the toys, even going so far as to try and stop Gabriel and charlie from helping them. but before he could watch the results he was found out and ran away before they could find him.

however, his plan worked, some part of CC was ‘awakened’ by the agony in the location, thus causing the bite of 87.

agony being the key here is hunted with the shadow animatronics in fnaf 3, in the minigames most of them seem to be heavily affected by CCs memories.

I think shadow freddy in particular is a manifestation of this, and is crucial to whatever is going on with CC.

i also think MM happened at some point around here, either before or after Fnaf 2 and William put Micheal in the nightmare chambers as a punishment. if it’s before then I think something happened with the nightmare chambers that made William go back to the agony idea.

I’m not sure when this happens, but I think William at some point uses Elizabeth to figure out what exactly happened with CCs soul, mainly how it became ‘broken’. I think he came up with the scooper to see if removing bits of metal from a haunted robot and putting it into other robots could achieve what seemingly happened in Fnaf 2, essentially creating an artificial soul shattering, and I think this is how William found how this works. And probably thinks happened with CC, that parts of him are in all of the animatronics.

I will also add that I think William disguised his experiments as just maintenance, since SL implies that the funtimes breakdown frequently and need to get scooped to ‘fix‘ it. so I think he set up a system for his employees at Afton robotics to follow, where if the funtimes breakdown, they’re to use the scooper on them, knowingly injecting Elizabeth’s remnant into them.

I think william sent Micheal to the Fnaf 1 location to try and steal parts of the animatronics, hell, maybe william used the nightmare chambers to train Michael for this (because the bedroom really feels like it’s based off the Fnaf 1 location, with the kitchen area really only making sense As a link to fnaf 1) because at that point William couldn’t pull the same stunt he did in fnaf 2. But before Micheal could really do anything he was fired.

with that set up, I think William decided to wait until the place closed down before going in himself, aka follow me, with the help of Shadow freddy. I think he sets up an automated message for Micheal to find in case he died during the process. “Father, I did it, I found it. It was right where you said it would be” these lines from Michael make it seem like William only gave him directions to where the bunker was, which is odd, why couldn’t the man just show Micheal where CBEAR was? Or just hire his own son to work at HIS company? from how this sounds, micheal was moreso infiltrating CBEAR, which doesn’t make any sense if William is still around.

I think this why Scott added the implication that William went missing in Micheal’s monologue.

this is why I think William‘s message to Micheal was a pre recording he prepared in case he died. I think William planned that, if he were to die, he’d ask micheal to at least put Elizabeth back together in case he failed.

i think William doesn’t mention putting CC back together because, if he fails to do Follow me and get ALL of the MCI’s remnant, then CC wouldn't be fixable with what’s at CBEAR.

and regarding why would William inject the MCI’s remnant into all of the funtimes instead of just one, I don’t think that was his intention actually. I think what happened is was William managed to melt down all the endos for the scooper, but before he could finish, he died. And since their boss went missing, the workers at Cbear just kept doing what William had them doing back when he Probably his what he was doing with Remnant, using the scooper on the funtimes whenever they broke down, unknowingly injecting each of them with the MCI’s and Elizabeth’s remnant for who knows how long before Micheal arrived.

Back to follow me, and as we see, William fails and dies, and I think William then goes ahead and talks to CC in fnaf world, and sets up clues for CC to finally get all his pieces.

I do think there’s evidence William Failed to get all of CCs parts, mainly because the series seems to heavily indicate that CC is only able to be put back together at the fnaf 3 location. Fnaf world sets up things we see in fnaf 3, and the teaser for the Halloween update has “he put the pieces back together“ in the code. and the logbook seemingly shows Cassidy and Micheal helping CC around the time of Fnaf 3.

and by FFPS, CC seems to’ve come back finally as Molten Freddy.

thats about everything I think.

All the evidence I could find for my idea that Agony beings seem to be a reflection/ alter ego of their originators, and that they could be influenced by their creators.

This is all basically set up for a theory I plan to make down the road, so I wanted to gather all of my main evidence all in one place and explain my reasoning on how I think this works.

I didn't bring up hide and seek since I think it's heavily implied later on that shadow bonnie in that story is just Eleanor/Andrew, so it's dubious if it's truly the protagonist's own agony being despite the story heavily hinting at it.

First off, there's a red haired character named Reggie that I'm suspicious of being Eleanor, they're the character who suggests Toby should play Hide and seek as it recently opened, and later on they're the only character whose able to see the shadow bonnie on the protag's back without a mirror, which is HIGHLY suspicious since almost no one else does, not even the protag can see it without a mirror, which is SUS on top of Reggie's way too chill demeanor about the shadow bonnie, when a kid at school who sees it in a mirror rightfully freaks out.

Like I'm convinced Reggie is another one of Eleanor's transformations, and she orchestrated the entire scenario, like with Kelsey in 'The new kid'.

Also the lead up to Toby getting Shadow bonnie attached to him is bizzare, The story makes it seem like the LITERAL shadow bonnie prop came to life and attached itself to Toby's back when he specifically cheats at the game so that the prop couldn't hide anywhere. And this is before Toby's crash out where he bashes everything up.

So the story doesn't seem to be implying that Shadow bonnie was born from Toby's rage, I think it's saying that Shadow bonnie is actually just a haunted prop with some piece of Andrew inside probably, that's doing a springtrap chaser/fetch nonsense to Toby since they cheated, and Eleanor just helps it attach to Toby fully.

like you could unironically make an analysis where the Shadow rabbit is just Andrew, and that the fact it seemingly wants to win so bad is because Andrew is a lot like Toby, someone who wants to WIN, and is petty enough to do that nonesense.

But under the alternative interpretation of it not being that, it's easy to see it as being A manifestation of Toby's emotions, which works pretty well with my idea that Agony being's are seemingly mirrors of their counterparts.

u/bluestargreenmoon — 10 days ago

I noticed something pretty interesting, NM Fredbear and Nightmare who could be seen as different sides of the same character, seem to repeat things William said.

the lines are from Springtrap in fnaf AR. just a little fun thing I noticed, that it’s specifically these two characters that seem to be using William’s own words against him. which I think is pretty interesting since they’re technically both just one character with different colors.

Another reading of BOV, and how it concern's CC, Micheal, and possibly william

HERE is a post where I show my interpretation of BOV that makes the idea of it being an allegory of CC and Micheal more likely, in my opinion.

And I didn't go into it here, but the amount of times Foxy has been singled out and connected to GF is IMMENSE, so HERE is a link to a post I made chronologing all of the evidence I found, And even then I missed some stuff like how GF's floating head in Fnaf 2 is in the same place that Withered foxy appears, and so on.

Overall, I made this post mostly because, while I do think CC is causing UCN, I don't really think william exactly 'killed' CC for multiple reasons. But obviously to me, there's so much imagery that makes it seem like CC is doing UCN, and I think BOV is meant to look us in the eye and say that CC is involved in some way.

The other reason is that I have another theory cooking up where I don't think CC was Broken in 1983, nor that he was told 'I will put you back together' in 1983 either, but I'll elaborate on that some other time.

Other than that, I hope you had a decent time reading this!

What’s with Eleanor and the ballpit?

i haven’t read all the books fully, but from what I remember Eleanor essentially replaced people’s bodies with scrap metal to seemingly steal their identities.

and this was later implied to’ve caused ‘one person’ to bleed in the ball pit over the course of 30 YEARS every time she specifically pulled this stunt.

and Jake discovers that there’s actually a bunch of Souls of a bunch of people inside the ballpit

this feels like such a strange plot point, especially since Detective larsen uses the ballpit to essentially find Eleanor in multiple time periods again and again. and I think it’s sorta implied every time perked he appeared in was when Eleanor pulled the “tadaah! you’re scrap metal!“ trick.

but like... why is she doing this? what’s with the blood?

and why is she seemingly bringing a bunch of random people‘s souls into the ballpit? how did she do that? is the ballpit her nest or something? is she using the human souls as idle sustenance? agony farming?

i could go into ITP and RTTP too but bluegh that’s too messy.

I feel like Scott is implying something with the eye symbology, but i don’t know why he’s tying Springbonnie to the left eye, and golden Freddy (recently) to the right eye

does it mean something? I dunno, probably not.

u/bluestargreenmoon — 13 days ago

i remembered how Elizabeth was seemingly able to See and go through Henry’s memories just through the emotional energy he put into the robot she possessed, and knew what he did and felt.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone discuss this, do you guys think any soul could do this? being able to see the memories carried by emotional energy?

also the novel from what I remember also had it stated that Elizabeth was also affected by Henry’s rage as he built the robot, so it seems like Agony/emotional energy can even affect how spirits act too, so maybe this could be a possible explanation for how Godvictim could work.

what do you guys think?

I got this idea thanks to THIS post I just saw.

edit: and I guess a way to read the last thing could be that the Fox ‘escaping’ could be seen as what the final cutscene in UCN is about. And the bear deciding to eat noodles is an allagory of the OMC ending maybe.

also id like to also bring up how this idea unironically implies that the clickteam era games was essentially a series of CCs failed attempts at killing micheal LOL. It reminds me of a post I saw where Someone suggested that it was CC who told the spirits in SL that Micheal was William so they’d kill him XD.

heck, this could even be saying that Molten Freddy coming to FFPS was CCs next attempt at trying to kill Micheal again.

u/bluestargreenmoon — 17 days ago

since the fnaf 2 movie has shown that spirits can possess a person, it made me think of Fnaf world and how it has spooky eyes imply that CC is meant to see the fnaf 3 clues and use them to put himself back together.

but with how Fnaf 3 is shown, it’s heavily implied that Micheal/us is the one doing it. Since it’s implied that the protagonist is seeing the follow me minigames and doing what the clues suggest. It only really makes sense if the protagonist is the one doing them. so there’s a contradiction seemingly, however I think there’s two ways to ‘solve’ this, one being Ennard gaurd, or another idea being that CC is controlling Micheal in some way.

what do you think of this idea? I’m asking since… I have another very silly idea in the works.

u/bluestargreenmoon — 18 days ago

what I mean is that What we found implies that the phantoms are made from someone’s guilt/fears, and in the story the protag sees things as burnt due to a traumatic fire in his past.

so with the phantoms looking burnt, doesn’t that imply the player character also had some weird trauma with a fire? most people assumed that they look burnt because the protagonist intended to burn the place down, but i think the book story is trying to imply something else.

u/bluestargreenmoon — 20 days ago

I recently made a post on the theorist sun about how the C in fnaf AR could’ve been Charlie, and I remembered how the teasers strangely focused on the number 11 a lot. with the amount of text messages you get being maxed out at 1,111.

i wasnt sure what to make of this until this number first flashed After it, 11.1987. it’s a clear reference to when Fnaf 2 happens.

so the trailer is hinting that Whoever C is, has some relation to November of 1987, and I think Charlie fits that the best. Since it could be argued that this date could be significant as the month and year she died in. While with Cassidy, the only other C named character, the only way to tie them with this date is if they did the bite of 87 or the theory of Cassidy being from the DCI.

of course a bunch of other numbers flash after it that seem relevant, but they all devolve into nonsense and are repeated with different numbers, all except for 11, so I think it could be intentional.
