For context: I'm a 16 year old teenager studying for my AS Levels in India, coming from the 13 Pro Max.
Almost every "warning" I've been giving against buying the iPhone Air has turned out to be either:
a. A lie, or...
b. An exaggeration
As far as durability concerns go, JRE's video testing the Air (with it's titanium frame) will show that, in fact, it's the most durable iPhone (ever), surpassing even the 17 Pros (with their aluminum unibody).
Battery life is a non-issue, as even with 10 hour screen-on-time days (my usual), I start my day at 8AM, and end the day @ 10PM with roughly 10% remaining. Of course, the iPhone Air battery pack exists, so.
Plus, performance has been a night-and-day difference. Coming from a buggy 13 Pro Max with 75% battery health and 6GB RAM, the iPhone Air is much snappier with double the memory and nearly half the thickness.
The iPhone Air shares the same main sensor as the rest of the 17 series, so aside from the ultrawide lens (which isn't present altogether), the zoom is still usable, and daylight (and night/dark) pictures still look good.
I, personally, don't regret getting the iPhone Air, and if you aren't someone who's actively recording in 8K RAW, you won't either. The best part is, most retailers are running a 20K discount on it.
