Peanuts/peanut ingredients in restaurants, bakeries, etc

How common are peanuts, peanut butter, and peanut ingredients in Canadian restaurants, bakeries, chocolatiers, cafes, etc? I’m going on a family trip to western Canada soon and one of my cousins has a severe peanut allergy so I want to know how common it is for establishments to use peanut ingredients so we know what to look out for.

Edit: wow thank you so much for all the replies! I didn’t expect to get so many comments with such great advice! Will definitely be going into this trip much better prepared now because of all you lovely people!

Are Canadians mad that so many Americans are citizens now?

I would hope not. It seems to me like if u have Canadian ancestry you’re gonna be from a normal state and be relatively smart and normal. I wonder how Canadians feel about so many Americans becoming citizens. Most of the people I’ve talked to are from places like California or Oregon.

Found tick - no bite mark

Hi all, found an American dog tick on my ear and it had already secreted that white cement out of its mouth when I found it but I don’t see a bite mark. Still as someone with Lyme I’m super freaked out. Has anyone ever seen the white cement stuff secreted from a tick’s mouth before they bite? I thought that was only once they’ve bitten that they secrete it. Let me know your thoughts. I have plenty of doxy on standby.

Tick Disease Is REAL

Lived in Kansas my whole life with ticks a common part of summer time. This past week after following protocol- long pants with long sleeved shirt plus heavy DEET spraying and I ended up with 20 plus ticks with 13 actually attached.
Less than 12 hours later I had a splitting headache with flu like symptoms.
Only 2 bites were abnormal looking and were painful to touch.
My Dr. told me to go straight to the Emergency Room. Blood serum doesn’t show tick disease for approximately 7-10 days later! So quick action by drs are important.
I do NOT have Alpha-gal syndrome. There are SEVERAL other serious diseases that Lone Star ticks carry. I am on 14 days of Doxycycline and had a shot. I have been seen twice and they are closely monitoring me. I will have the serum testing this week.
They suspect a tick fever (RMSF) or Ehrlichiosis .
Everyone is panicking over the meat allergy and there are other diseases that are serious.
Just wanted to share for awareness because the sooner your seen after symptoms start the better!!

**Ticks were in Eastern KS /Coffey County

Proof Elon helped rig the 2024 election

Here’s a YouTube video for everyone if u haven’t seen it describing the rigging of the 2024 election and including testimony from Elon’s ex girlfriend: https://www.youtube.com/live/wtNyo\_bUBpY?si=ZAg-XFLZFpo5NpD0

And why won’t democrats or judges fucking do anything about it??? They and all the people who helped rig the 2024 election belong in jail. And they’re gonna rig the midterms if we don’t put an end to all the rigging and prosecute all involved! The midterms will be rigged. So at what point will there be any accountability for all the people who were involved in all the cheating? Kamala won the 2024 election. Why isn’t she in office after the lawsuit last summer proved she won? Seriously do democrats work for trump? What are they getting out of protecting him as leader? This is so fucking creepy to me.

In case anyone is sensitive or too grossed out by the pictures of ticks I’ve been posting here to provide visual references for everyone to identify ticks, I’ve marked them all NSFW. I’ll post a few more identification charts as well and will pin them all so they’re easier for everyone to find.
