How was your Rahu MD? I have Rahu in Pisces 8th house, and I will have it soon. It aspects my 12th, 4th, and 9th and has lordship in the 3rd.

Hi, what the title says. I will be transferring to a newer and bigger university in comparison to my old one and be pretty far from family alongside studying a new major. My mars mahadasha in particular honestly was not great. I had so many ego battles, delusions, etc. that truly hampered me to grow academically, socially etc. Now, I am trying to unlearn this but I am scared that as I am slowly entering my Rahu MD I will be back to square one. I would like to know what to expect so that I can be prepared

I got accepted into Northeastern 2 months ago and I filled out my CSS after a while after that shit and they still have yet to give me my package. I don’t know if this is a good sign or not but I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I’m an upcoming senior and i’m very concerned at where the CS landscape is heading towards. I’ve done previous REUs and go to a T10. Me and a couple of friends application cycle was absolutely brutal this year. One had 3 rounds of interview to end up with no offer. Out of 6 only 1 of them got it, and he deserved it 100%.
The only problem I have with this sheer amount of competition is that it seems unnatural. Maybe increased by whatever the job market is right now. Either way, academia is doomed.

I got in as a transfer student recently, and I just got to know that BU is need-based for transfers whose family income is under a certain threshold. Unfortunately, I just submitted my CSS yesterday which means I technically missed the deadline to be considered for that. I talked to the financial aid ppl and they told me to just submit an appeal letter. Has anyone gone through a similar situation? I don't know how to navigate it...😭☹️💔
Going to BU would be a dream. I already bombed all my fucking finals so I have no choice but to transfer to some instituition (Hopefully this one but its all up to the lords playing my fate out)
