What's one bedroom upgrade that made a bigger difference than you expected?

I've been slowly trying to make my bedroom feel more comfortable instead of just looking nice, and it's been interesting how some of the smallest changes have had the biggest impact.

For me, changing the lighting made the room feel a lot cozier at night. Now I'm wondering what I'm overlooking.

If you could recommend just one bedroom upgrade - whether it's bedding, curtains, lighting, furniture or something else. what would it be and why?

Do pillows actually get more comfortable over time, or is it just getting used to them?

I've noticed that whenever I get a new pillow, it usually feels a little strange for the first few nights. Then after a week or two, it starts feeling much more comfortable.

Now I'm wondering if the pillow is actually breaking in, or if I'm just getting used to sleeping on it.

Have you found that your favorite pillows got better over time, or did you know right away that they were a good fit?

I’m starting to realize bedding makes way more difference than I thought

I used to just buy whatever bedding looked decent and not think much about it, but lately I’ve been paying more attention and it’s kind of surprising how much it affects sleep comfort.

Now I’m trying to figure out what actually matters most - is it the fabric type, weave, or just how everything feels together once you’re actually sleeping on it?

For those who’ve tried different setups, what ended up making the biggest difference for you over time?

I didn’t realize pillows could make such a difference until I started paying attention

I’ve always just used whatever pillow I had without thinking much about it. But recently I started noticing how much it affects sleep and even neck comfort in the morning.

Now I’m kind of curious - what actually matters most in a good pillow? Is it the material, firmness, or how it holds shape over time?

Also, do people usually stick with memory foam, down, or something else long-term? I’m still figuring this out, so would love to hear what’s worked for others.
