Anniversary gift! I did a lot of research between the micra and mini, but ultimately ended up with the mini. It will be end game for us. I will probably upgrade the grinder eventually. We are experimenting with what beans we like so we wanted to try single dose. I was originally going to set it on our coffee cabinet to replace the Breville Express that we had for 7 years, but the Mini ended up being too long. I had room in this area which works fine. Hoping to find cups to fit on top. The notNeutral in amethyst I wanted is out of stock until Oct-Nov. I am also going to upgrade both machines to Walnut add ons sometime soon. The shot flavor is by far better than the Breville. Even when I pull a semi crappy shot on the Mini. My husband doesn’t like tinkering too much with espresso machines and mainly drink medium to dark roast so we didn’t care much for one with flow control. A commercial repair company 1 hour and 15 minutes from me said they will handle any repairs if I purchased through them. They ended up having two in stock at their LA store. Luckily one was the black I wanted. So they shipped it to IA within days and I was able to demo it and take it straight home. No regrets. The steamer is beyond amazing.

Tamping station

I am expected to bring home a Linea Mini next week. I have been searching for accessories since I am going from a 54mm to a 58mm. Need recommendations on tamping stations that fit Normcore and La Marzocco. Plus if it has a detachable tamping station and storage tubes for single dosing. Thanks!

Trying Missha first time

I ordered #23 (red bottle) to try, but it is dark. Should I try #21 or #13 next? Or will this possibly not work for me at all? I do have rosacea (wearing redness corrector) and have tanned a little from the sun already. As you can see near my collar my skin is way more pale naturally.

Thanks for the help.

Getting closer!

I have never been this close to a match before! I have deep dived into this forum to find what works for me and it has helped immensely. Not perfect, but happy to know what direction to go in. Armani Luminous Silk in shade 4 (still too orange?) and Nars Light Reflecting in shade Mont Blanc (way lighter than I assumed I could go, but seems to be really close). My 9yo was with me when I was testing in the store and I asked how they looked. For the Nars she is like what am I looking at? I can’t see anything. So I was like that is exactly what I want to hear. It held back my rosacea really well after applying Hero Rescue Balm. I also have tanned some on my face, but I like the fact that it matches my neck for now.
