I’ve had my x half for a few days. I love it. The shape and weight reminds me of the first instamatic I picked up in the 70s
I have much better serious cameras and lenses so making no comparisons
This one is light hearted fun with no expectations
I’ll maybe share more thoughts later but so far I don’t love the film vibe. I m so used to motor drive that the advance lever is not natural anymore and the 36minimum film roll is too much- so used to checking if got the shot that it seems idiotic to take 36 frames of my dog jumping if i nailed it frame 1.
That said the do not need the film roll game to make it great.

I have ordered a silver one and excited to receive it. Just a question for the group- I’m used to tweaking recipes in my xt30 ii specifically in monochrome - what level of customisation are you all using or happy with the hard coded recipes ? How much more adjustment is possible? I like a push processed tri-x vibe in my XT30. Is this asking too much? Looking forward to it anyway it’s not all about the tech!
