F1 Student Employee - Health Insurance Options?

Hi guys!

I’m a manager of a college campus bookstore, and I mostly hire international students as options of employment are scarce on campus. One of my employees needs to visit doctors fairly regularly and does not currently have any health insurance. She just got recently diagnosed with PCOS, and the options our campus provided her with she has no idea which one to choose. I asked her if the international office gave her any suggestions, or mentioned which ones students used. That coordinator basically said idk and left it as that.

I’m taking a look at many of these brochures they gave her and feel way out of my depth. I don’t want her paying money for a policy that isn’t going to do anything for her, but where we are a community college there is not a campus policy or clinic she can utilize.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I absolutely cherish my international employees, and generally want the best for them and try to look out for them as much as possible. ❤️

True Surgical Steel or Titanium Post Options

I have extremely sensitive ears, I cannot even wear pure gold earrings without my ears becoming extremely itchy, red, and making it crusty. The only type of earrings I can wear without my ears becoming irritated is surgical steel or titanium post earrings.

I want to wear cute earrings, but all of the options I have found are typically just stud earrings, or technically are body jewelry pieces. I’m attending a concert in August and earrings would make my outfit pop.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Yorkie Appreciation: We truly don’t deserve their love ❤️

I have two yorkies, both are mixed. Lady (Ladybug 🐞) is a dachshund Yorkie mix, and my first dog in my life that was truly mine. I grew up always having a dog in the household, and I got her once I turned 19 at 6 month old. I have NEVER formed a connection like I have with her, and it happened almost instantly. She knew I was her human, and I was her safe place. ❤️

Since Ladybug is a senior dog now, I know her time with us is numbered and I absolutely dread it. Thankfully my girl is very healthy, and really the only thing we have had to worry about with her is maintaining the benign cysts she gets near her back.

My other girl is Coco, and she is a Morkie. We rescued her when she was 12 weeks old. She is an absolute character, and opposite of Ladybug. She is a hyper little thing that will scratch you if you aren’t giving her enough attention. It’s funny because she will hop on the back of our couch and it looks as if she is trying to dig a hole in you. Whereas Ladybug will just nudge you with her nose or just snuggle up right next to you. My best friend calls her tinkle toes because when someone visits us she gets so excited to greet them that she tinkles on the floor.

I 1000% believe we don’t deserve the love of dogs as a whole, and especially yorkies. They are just so devoted to their humans.

Smooth Fit Pull-On High-Rise Pant - Comparable Pants?

These pants are AMAZING, and I wish Lulu never retired them! 😭😭😭

I work in retail and love how flattering these pants are for a PCOS belly, and how unbelievably comfortable they are if needing to merchandise and may need to get on the floor or anything like that. I work in a niche retail industry (College Bookstore Retail Industry) so when we are in peak season these pants are super breathable, but also very professional if I’m meeting with the campus president or presenting.

I have these pants alerted for me in the Like New site, but I’m really needing to get me another pair or two of something similar to this. I know Lulu came out with the DayDrift line, but it’s just not the same to me.

I know Halara has pants that look similar to these, but the quality looks extremely cheap. I’m not against paying a little more if I’m getting good quality products.

Any recommendations or suggestions for options comparable to these pants would be greatly appreciated!

TIA ❤️

Last Min Custom Tee Order?

What are some good quality places locally that can make custom t-shirts quickly? This Friday my sister and I are going to travel to NC to surprise my 5 yr old niece. Saturday will be her first motocross race, and I thought she would be over the moon if I surprised her by having shirts made for all of us to wear on her big day.

Turn around time will be tight, as I would need it by Thursday, and I only need 3 made.

Hi Ladies!

My grocery & food eating habits have been horrible lately. Before I was diagnosed with ADHD and taking stimulants, I didn’t eat the best but I felt like grocery shopping was much easier because I planned around what food I was craving. Now since being diagnosed for 3 years now my eating habits keep getting worse.

Nothing sounds appetizing or good, and the amount of brain power it takes now to try to plan out meals not knowing what I really want is exhausting. This aspect of ADHD I have not had much luck with, meal planning and meal prepping is SO FLIPPING HARD for me. Also let’s be honest, how many of us have weird food icks? Cause I know I have several, which makes this even more challenging.

So with that being said, we are trying home delivery kits again. Currently we are doing Hello Fresh, and we have tried them in the past but the cost associated with them at the time wasn’t really in our budget and I felt as if the meal selections were pretty limited for me based on my picky eating habits. Since our last time trying it out it seems like they are offering a much better selection in recipe options, but the meats I feel like are going to give me major problems even though I’m a meat eater.

Hungry Root also looks in very appealing because you can essentially do ALL of your grocery shopping, where I feel like Hello Fresh just covers meals.

Has anyone tried out Hungry Root, or had some major success utilizing these types of services to eat healthier and better?

TIA ❤️
