I understand the basics I think, areoles with both yellow and green are what you want but just wondering if theres anything else I should do?

How do you guys cut cactus that are outside? cut at an angle sure, but then sulfur the cut, do you keep it dry for a couple days?put a baggie on it for a couple days? just sulfur and pray to the gods of "please dont let it rain" ? In Illinois, so I just had 5 inches of rain in 5 days, lots of smaller tstorms, couple miles away, no rain for a week...

All the PC is almost poppin nubs, they'll go out in 3 weeks maybe, I see at least one more tray, maybe 2 Ill take out b4 AC season so I can lower the boys electric bill ;)
Technically there is space but in about 2 weeks Ill have a bunch of pc rooted to go out. The 2 plant stands are the base to a king size bed(2 twin beds essentially) to give an idea of scale
