Pixel 11 Pro 12GB RAM or 16GB RAM?

I have preordered the Pixel 11 Pro 12GB RAM recently and I’m still waiting for it to arrive in the next couple of days.

However, now I’m thinking if I made a mistake and I should have ordered the one with 16GB RAM.

I don’t play games on my phone, mainly using it for calls, messaging, web browsing, etc…

Maybe I’m just a bit FOMO but am I missing out a lot by not having 16GB of RAM? I don’t care about storage either and I don’t really use AI or Gemini, so it’s mainly the RAM that I’m slightly concerned about.

Edit:

I see a lot of comments about future proofing the phone. Personally I change my phone every 2-3 years, so I’m not planning to keep the Pixel 11 Pro for more than 3 years for sure.

I also just realised that my current Galaxy S24 (base model) has only 8GB RAM and I’ve never experienced any lag or stutter on it in the past 2 years, so I guess my usage is pretty basic and not heavy.

Anyone managed to run Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on 8 Elite Gen 5?

I know it's a bit of a stupid question since the game is quite heavy, but just wondering if it's even possible. I tried running but It crashes after the initial ubisoft logo lol.

However, the older version runs great on Gamehub, 60FPS. Is there anything besides the graphical enhancement that I will lose If I play the older version in terms of story and missions? 🤔

Legion Y700 Gen 5, forced performance mode when using Gamehub

As the title says, I recently got the Y700 Gen 5, whenever I use Gamehub for Pc emulation the tablet always runs in performance mode, compared to GameNative or WinNative which l both can run in balance or performance depending what I choose.

For Gamehub if I try to set to balance mode, I am getting a popup message saying that for PC emulation the tablet needs to run at in performance mode, which is quite dumb since I did not have this issue with my Gen 3 before.

Anyone knows how to fix this, a lot of the PC games I play are mainly older so I don’t really need a performance mode to run the games.
