Not warm, not comfy, like hot.

I have a Pixel 10a, because I apparently have no regard for my digital privacy, and it has Qi wireless charging, 10w standard. Also, I have a Dbrand grip case on it. When I place it on a wireless charger it feels unreasonably hot after a few minutes. It still charges, but what the heck? That amount of heat can't be good for the battery, right? Like it's uncomfortable to hold guys. It doesn't get THAT hot when I charge with a cable either. Talk to me, is this thing gonna explode, destroy my battery, make me sterile? Give it to me straight (or gay, happy pride and whatnot).
