Can you recommend books on varying religions that isn't biased towards one?

With everything going on in the world right now, I feel the need to increase my knowledge on the different religions, how they came to be, what role they played in history, and the like. I believe it's important to be informed, but I'm afraid that a lot of media that I currently consume may be biased. I know that it's almost unlikely to find books with absolutely zero bias, but maybe you know of ones where the predisposition towards one specific religion is at a minimal? I'm steering clear of books that are heavily referencing sacred texts as the absolute truth, because, then again, it would be biased with just a certain religion.

I'm Catholic on paper, but my beliefs right now are far from being Christian. I would say that I am a non-religious theist, but I am always open to learning more about religion.
