I text my ex husband about a hunch I had that he was working against me with my dad. I text him “turn yourself in” he then said help me and said he would do anything and sounded very desperate. I don’t have a clue what he did but I need to find out. All ideas welcome. (My dad’s a Mason if that helps).

I’m mentally and physically exhausted. They took my kids away from me and put me in a mental hospital. All because I spoke up. Full story in my profile. I am going to be straightforward because I know this community values that.

I am a mother who lost custody of my children via an ex parte order while I was hospitalized and unable to respond. I was the primary caregiver their entire lives. Their father lived out of state and has multiple DUI convictions on record. My own parents and sister assisted him in filing the emergency motion while I was in the hospital.

Here is where I need investigative help specifically.

Before my hospitalization I confronted my ex-husband because I believed something had been coordinated against me. When I told him to confess he did not deny it. He agreed to do it, asked where to go, asked if he was going to die, and said he needed to transfer his assets first. He then drove from out of state and showed up at a hotel nearby. I have every one of those texts.

I later discovered my father had been paying my best friend since the 4th grade for information about me. He was also paying a neighbor at the time. I was on my father’s phone plan and I have text proof he was using that access to monitor me.

When I tried to sell my condo to start over I discovered for the first time that my parents’ names had been secretly placed on the deed without my knowledge. I had lived there since 2019 and invested significant money and labor into the property.

I have text messages, audio recordings, videos, and police reports. I have gathered everything I can on my own but I am not a trained investigator and I know there is more to uncover. I do not have financial resources right now.

My questions for this community are:

1. Is there anyone in Michigan or who works remotely who investigates cases involving financial control, surveillance, and coordinated family interference?

2. What type of investigator handles cases that involve potential collusion between family members and an ex-spouse?

3. Are there any investigative resources or organizations that take cases pro bono or on contingency when someone has no income?

4. What would be the most important evidence to preserve and prioritize right now while I continue to gather information?
