My flair

I tend to draw my caricatures with a little bit of flair to it.

This subject had none of what's shown. But then I started adding more and more.

She was more of a bookworm at a local coffee shop nearby and her reaction was in pure amazement.

Easel question

So I'm embarking on a very nice career move and diving in head first as a traveling caricature artist. Currently I have a Jullian French easel, which is about 30 pounds and it'll make it hard to travel with and can get damaged during a flight. So what kind of easel should I get? Something that can either take it as a carry on, or durable to check in without damage. It must hold 12 x 18 stacks of paper while I'm working.

Idk about this.

My current job is cutting corners in getting business finally running but I'm afraid that one day the fire Marshal is going to show up and shut it down. But they're running two giant generators in very close proximity to the private building next to them. That seems like a fire hazard.

I brought it to their attention and they just shrugged it off and said "well let's hope that doesn't happen...

Am I wrong to be concerned about how this company is starting the business?

Hello everyone. I need some guidance about what I'm getting into.

So I'm going from a small retail caricature artist in a local theme park, and a few small wedding gigs here and there, to an LLC owning, traveling caricature artist with year round shows throughout the US and maybe the world. It's like walking into the big leagues and I need some feedback on what I'm up against.

I have a couple of months to prepare for it.

I might start off with a few shows sleeping in my car, then I'm thinking about living the RV life once I get my feet wet with the agency.

My question is, what was your experience with making such a major career upgrade into the caricature world and what setbacks should I expect when doing this?
