AC runs just fine but after few hours the air it blows is not cold anymore, it blows like in fan mode only.

For context, the area behind the ac where the exhaust is, is a closed area with a small window.

I noticed that it happens when that area becomes too hot.

I research a bit and got infos that the compressor might be overheating and shuts down automatically, leaving only the fan running.

So is it because of the trapped heat in that area at the back of ac that makes it work improperly? TIA!
