Looking for girl pals

Hi! I’m a woman in my 40s living in Laval and I’d love to find a few local friends around my age. 😊

I’m pretty introverted/homebody-ish and would especially love to chat online first and get to know each other naturally, with the possibility of meeting in Laval eventually if we click.

A little about me: I love books, healthy living/nutrition, random conversations and humour. I’m also navigating perimenopause and chronic illness, and I deal with anxiety that sometimes makes getting out of the house difficult... so fellow low-pressure humans who understand that life doesn’t always cooperate would be very welcome. 😂

Mostly I’m just looking for kind people to hopefully build some genuine friendships...☺️

LLooking for a kind psychologist in Chomedey/Laval

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for recommendations for a kind, compassionate psychologist in Chomedey, Laval.

My main reasons for seeking therapy are longstanding anxiety, panic, health anxiety, and coping with chronic health issues. I’m also hoping to work with someone who is open to discussing possible autism in adults, although I’m not looking for a formal assessment at this time.

More than anything, I’m looking for someone who is warm, patient, and easy to talk to. Feeling comfortable with my therapist is really important to me.

If you’ve had a really positive experience with a psychologist, I’d be so grateful for any recommendations.

Thank you!

Ring-shaped mark behind knee for 2 weeks — any ideas?

Hi everyone. I’ve had this ring-like red mark behind my knee for almost 2 weeks now. It’s not painful, not itchy, and hasn’t changed much in size or appearance. It’s smooth (not bumpy), doesn’t feel warm, and hasn’t really spread.

I first noticed it around the time I started doing some yoga and mild strength training, but I’m not sure if that’s related or just coincidence. At first I thought it might be a bruise, but it never really changed color or faded like a normal bruise would.

Does this look familiar to anyone? I’ve seen things online like granuloma annulare, ringworm, etc., but I know internet searching can go in every direction 😅
