I’m a cis woman with a rad pixie cut and I can’t tell you how often at my public service job I get a “sir”. I always dress in florals, bright colors, jewelry. Also I have giant tits. I’m genuinely baffled.

Little kids ask “are you a boy or girl”, I say “girl”. Little kids are fine cause they are still learning the world.

I’m so tired. Give me your hilarious responses that I probably can’t say outloud cause I don’t want to get fired but it might make me feel better on the inside.

After watching years of critical role, I convinced a few friends to play. I started with Keys From the Golden Vault and a couple of months ago I ran Murkmire Stone and yesterday I ran Stygian Gambit. I wanted to DM but I was nervous about screwing up. ‘But I don’t know what I’m doing!” Well, that’s never stopped me before…

I ended up knowing how things worked more than I expected just through CR osmosis. My crew was successful on both heists. I did Murkmire as written and did a little shifting on Stygian. I gave my players a Bag of Tricks because I thought it would be hilarious to have these animals rampaging through the casino (and it was). I did give the a hint to search Quintin’s office because I didn’t want them to get pancaked by Virgil. When they questioned the employees they mentioned Virgil and how Quintin controlled him with his mind but didn’t mention the staff because I didn’t think they would have picked up on that or mention it. I should have had someone mention something about secrets or treasure hiding in his office to prompt them to search.

At one point in Murkmire I had intended to RP information giving but felt the desire leave me so I just told them the information. Just a reminder to myself that I’m not Matt Mercer or a professional actor. I love all of Matt’s descriptions and characters, I wanted to bring that for my players but maybe I can make that a goal to work on for myself.

Also if I can get one of my players to be nicer to his wife (I KNOW), at least IG…
