I'm a collector and an OG backer; here's my fleet.

All pledges, some are LTI some are not. I don't care much for that.

Backed the game in Oct 2012.

Me and my friends' focus is Salvage, Hauling, Base Building, Crafting and Exploring.
We do enjoy some PVE combat as well but they have a similar fleet albeit a bit smaller.

Over the years I think I've owned all the ships there is but melted most of what I'm not interested in. Some new ships I buy just to check out and will likely serve as an upgrade for something in the future. I try not to melt ships anymore as I've bought ships, melted them because the current gameplay wasn't good and then the gameplay for said ship got better and bought them back... Today I keep the big majority of my ships and even though some aren't good now, they'll eventually be better.

Any question of if you're curious about any ships I'll be more than happy to talk about them.

I'm building a timeline of all ships released and I would need your help

Hello! The salty bit of SC wasn't as helpful as I thought and Spectrum ended up being a bit helpful. I'm hoping you all could help me?

Often I end up wondering when that ship was released exactly and wish I had some sort of a timeline to show all the ships released on a specific year or a specific patch so I figured I might as well build that website.

I would say though that finding the right info is not as easy as I thought with all the ships we have; when it was first announced is not always clear and some websites have conflicting info as to when ships were released so with this:

https://scshiptimeline.space/

What did I get wrong? I'm sure I missed some or I messed up some dates.

Thanks in advance for helping me out :)

EDIT: just to be clear. This is a tool for me. There's no subscription, no joining, no account, nothing. I'm just putting all the ship info I find in a file and show them in a list and on a timeline.
