Another Stingray picture!
Those look like the Wolf's S4's on the bottom, on maybe a pod that extends?

Those look like the Wolf's S4's on the bottom, on maybe a pod that extends?
I know, personal preference and all, but isn’t the MTC just a slightly too large Ursa? Ground vehicles are not so useful right now, but the UTV has the 1 SCU available at least. Can anyone explain why it’s such a landslide so far in the ship showdown?
There's been so much negative press about SC this week, it makes me think that nobody's swallowed the copium so much as CIG. We as players tend to overlook bugs we're just used to working around to have a good time. However CIG has made so many excuses for why they aren't fixed or they aren't gonna be fixed (waiting on the next system refactor), that they simply can't conceive of how outsiders are going to see the jankiness and be repulsed (and feel vindicated that they weren't "suckered" like us). Point is, even though I personally enjoyed watching the Siege of Orison livestream, and didn't mind all the problems, to outsiders who were already skeptical about this game, it was just gasoline on the fire (the fire being their already-existing scorn for Star Citizen).
Well, I don't really care. I still believe in the project, long term. But I know it's always going to be a niche gaming audience, not mainstream like GTA6 or NMS. But that's fine. I want a game with depth, aesthetics, and community. The other things out there are basically single-player games with great graphics and gameplay but not much community, or MMO's with okay graphics and shallow gameplay but great community, or any 2 of those things done well but not all 3.
And the most important thing to me is that SC is crowd-funded. Which is why it's ambitious, why it's taking so long, and why it has so many interesting things/features crammed into it.
So I'm not disheartened by the negative press, because most of those folks are toxic blowhards rage-baiting or flame-fanning for clicks. But some people who never heard of SC but see these negative react videos might get curious, and actually try it. And some of them might be like me and have fun despite the jank and bugs and missing features, and stick around long enough to see the potential around the corner, perhaps even join an org.
And those are the kinds of people I'd like to see stick around.
A family feud on the road to glory - nothing is sacred in the Showdown. These four-wheeled favourites have a lot in common, so what will be the deciding factor? Will it be the tough trekking UTV or the weaponized wagon MTC? Remember folks, oil is thicker than blood.

We're getting into the home stretch for Alpha 4.10, and we'd like to spend the rest of this week putting the PTU through its paces before we roll out to the Live servers.
We've got a number of fixes in, along with some additional backend logging to help us keep a better eye on things while you're playing. Now we want to put some real load on the areas we're most interested in seeing hold up.
In particular, we'd love to see you spend some time with:
As part of this final push, we're giving active PTU testers a chance to take the Kruger S-65 Stingray out for a spin. Those who receive access will be able to fly it for free through Sunday.
If you've already put substantial time into testing the PTU, you may find the Stingray available immediately with today's new build. If you're just getting started with the PTU today, spend some time playing the focused activities mentioned above (specific criteria will be outlined in the upcoming Patch Notes), and we'll be keeping an eye out for active players to grant access to the Stingray as well. Once it's available in your hangar, take it out for a spin and let us know what you think.
The main goal here is pretty straightforward: we want to find the things that are going to break when we put this in front of everyone on Live. If something feels off, breaks, gets weird, or just doesn't behave the way you think it should, let us know on Spectrum and the Issue Council.
Thanks for continuing to participate on the PTU, and we'll see you in-game!
I suggest you follow the Odin's path that I am currently printing
It's not going to be easy with everything it's turret and I want it big very big so work is announced
Here is my first piece it's the nose of the vessel and it makes very good
I'm afraid for the rest because it was the simplest

Did I miss anything?
Guys, I used post on spectrum a lot. (Have since ceased because I just dont want to keep up with 38.563 forums) I actually have a famous critique, that for some reason, still gets upvotes. Even OVER a year later. It was not removed. (Last upvote was JUNE this year, for some reason, despite post being made Jan 2025)
But this is the kind of shit I see on spectrum that gets people nuked, and this particular guy goes straight to the refunds sub and claims he was banned for liking PvP, and really tried to spin it that way. Even the refunds sub tore him a new asshole for his... "Joke".
The message that got him nuked?
"CR will ban anyone who pirates and personally go to their house and shoot their family dog!"
Also calling people douches.
Which is funny, because here is a quote from Zyloh himself:
"We're not here to protect players from aggressors, pirates, and PvPers. A big part of Star Citizen is about that dichotomy." - Zyloh
CIG is literally in his corner, but swears that they are not.
He claims on reddit to "like the game" but literally all of his posts and comments are bashing the game, and he literally cannot do anything else and has over 1000 comments and posts spanning only two MONTHS. Dude cannot resist trashing the game at any possible opportunity. Which normally would be fine, if he didnt continuously argue in bad faith, especially after the above ban.
On top of the above issue, he is also the first to call people shills, CIG plants/staff, or marketing firms trying to better CIGs name. And this is literally his response to his dogshit takes and critique.
This is the kind of shit I see that gets people nuked from spectrum, and they come here to complain without showing exactly what got them banned.
Edit 2: Even funnier, he is banned till 2034 for additional misconduct.
My main question is more geared towards the size of lasers and if you think they will have a wide angel of rotation. I know the built in refinery is going to be a huge selling point for a lot of people. However do you expect the lasers to also be bigger than the mole?
Also compared to Orion, I would expect the Orion to only be able to function in space not on planet. At very least Orion will probably be more of a prime target for pirates and requires some protection.
I am very much looking forward to seeing what the arrastra will become and I hope it goes on sale again during iae before launching. I never really was one for industrial gameplay mainly because of the refining process. I guess my expectations is for it to be a solid mining ship even solo and I hope that it will crack any size rock.
The Ares Inferno was quite simple to do in any case more than I thought it weighs can and is very solid
The only problem is that the bottom is not so perfect so I think I'll cut it for the next time
It is 30cm long
Thank you for reading
Here is the L22 Wolf I missed it several times and I had to cut it which allowed me to get it
I glued it plugged the holes and I think I paint it in chrome gray
If you have any ideas, questions or things to say, don't hesitate, have a good day
It is 40 cm long
Have a good day
As the comments suggested, it wasn't even close....
Ironclad Assault - 28 167 | 10 174 - Hermes
The Ironclad goes through to Round 2, the Elite Eight, and faces off against today's match up winner, the UTV or the MTC.
Are you on the edge of your jump seat? Because this is as unpredictable as it gets, folks. Two first-time Showdown entries and two solar opposites. It’s traditional versus those who laugh in the face of tradition. It’s RSI vs Drake. Can the Hermes’ maximized payload take on the Ironclad’s command module mayhem? Let’s see which hauling hopeful lives to make its final drop.

I was checking to see if the UTV could be purchased in game yet. Thought it was funny that the pick-up truck costs almost as much at the light tanks and significantly more than everything except the tanks and Spartan chassis vehicles. lol
Now that I think about it, it might be a case of a misplaced decimal point. Maybe the CSV-SM should be 35,910 instead of 359,100.

Hello everyone,
Last week, we dropped a big Roadmap Update, giving you the first look at 11 new cards tentatively planned for Alpha 4.11, including Nyx I, Starchitect, Planet Tech v5, new weapons, and more. If you haven’t already, check out the Release View for the full list of what’s currently in the works.
Thank you to everyone who has jumped into the Alpha 4.10 PTU with us recently. We’re eager to get this one onto the Live servers, and your participation has been tremendously helpful as we work through the remaining issues.
Keep an eye on Spectrum, as we intend to host a few focused stress tests this week to shore things up ahead of the Live release. We’ve intentionally held this patch back to give the team more time to address key issues and improve performance, with the goal of delivering a noticeably smoother experience when it arrives and building on that progress with each patch that follows.
And finally, a huge thank-you to everyone who joined us at Bar Citizen Denver over the weekend! The team had an incredible time connecting with so many of you and sampling Quantum Rye, a custom brew crafted specifically for the event (it was amazing!).
Next up, we’re crossing the Atlantic for gamescom in Cologne, Germany, on August 28. We can’t wait to reconnect with familiar faces, make new friends, and raise another glass with you!
Ship Showdown Phase 2 kicks off tomorrow, on Tuesday!
You rallied behind your favorites by sharing hundreds of fantastic creations during Phase 1, and now the Top 16 are ready to go head-to-head. From August 18 through September 2, two ships will face off each day, and it will be up to you to decide who moves forward in the bracket. Rally your crew, campaign for your pick, and make sure to cast your votes to earn an exclusive Spectrum badge along the way. Sixteen enter, but only one will take the crown!
On Wednesday, we're tentatively planning the start of some focused stress tests. Keep an eye on Spectrum for more information soon!
On Friday, the latest RSI Weekly Newsletter also lands in your inbox. If you’re not subscribed yet, you can sign up at any time through your account settings.
Cheers,

Fat Bird is back with another ship highlight! The Shiv has a solid reputation as a heavy fighter, but what about the simpler things, like how fun it is to fly? Embark on a full cinematic and audio adventure that's sure to be a feast for the eyes and ears!
Enjoy it on the Community Hub.
Just want to see how many of us believe in a 2026 release of SQ42.
And frankly this topic hasn't been talked about much. It deserves to be discussed. This is the biggest CIG related news in 2026 if true right? Why aren't we talking about more? Why hasn't more been released?
