Fancy-ish restaurant that won’t completely break the bank

Hello! First time poster, so sorry if I used the wrong flair.

My friend and I are coming to LA at the end of the month and I just bought a really nice, new dress I’m dying for an excuse to wear. We aren’t like rich people or anything so looking for something with an environment/vibe for a nice dress but preferably within maybe a $30-$40 entree range at MOST.

Outdoors or indoors is okay and anywhere between Anaheim and Santa Monica is fine. We’ll be all over the place so we can make whatever work! Any type of food is also fine - we both really love Asian food, though! Thank you!!

Doing assignments before beginning term

Hello! I just finished all my transferrable Sophia and Study.com courses last week (21 classes in six weeks) and sent the transcripts to WGU for evaluation for a September 1st start date. I’m kind of in the mindset to just keep grinding and this week without doing anything to progress has felt like such a waste of time.

Are there any websites or resources or anything that have the PA requirements and rubrics for each (or at least some) of the classes? I’d like to work on them now and then that way when my term starts I can just submit them right away.

I’m going for the B.S. in Communications and I already have 8 years of experience in communications, so I’m pretty confident in my knowledge of the subjects generally (depending on what the course material really looks like, I suppose) and just want to get a head start on what I can. I already plan on taking the Fundamentals of Spreadsheets class from WGU Academy in advance, but September 1st is just so far away to be waiting and not doing anything to get it done quicker!

Thanks in advance!

Anybody who has done the B.S. in Communications

I am going to be transferring in all the Sophia/Study classes I can so I will have 17 courses at WGU to complete. Should have all the Sophia and Study courses done by the end of July or sooner for a September 1 start.

I am home 3 days of the week and honestly with my job, I can probably do about 5-6 hours of school work at work. I also have about 7.5 years of “communications” experience already, although it’s in broadcast production and not anything involving business so I’m not sure how well that knowledge will transfer to the WGU courses. Also I read that there are only 3 proctored exams, is that still true?

Realistically could I get WGU knocked out in a single six month term? Everything I’ve read seems like it’s totally doable but I’m curious from anyone who has ACTUALLY done it. I’m particularly worried about the capstone being a major holdup and their new “acceleration” policy. Thanks!
