So following this post https://www.reddit.com/r/openSUSE/s/2TzngynnCY i've maybe unchecked and tabooed too many patterns and i've broken my system (rescued with snapper). Quick question: where can i read about Myrlyn in detail? How can i know at what pattern a certain package belongs to?

Quick question: is there a way to update using zypper dup and avoid unwanted software like games (minesweeper, sudoku) to be automatically installed?

I recently fell in love with metroidvanias and after completing Blasphemous (85%) and i noticed a very peculiar thing: these kind of games cannot be completed (100%) without a wiki. Let me give you an example: to unlock the Nail Uprooted from Dirt i need to equip the Toes made of Limestones and reach Redento. That's impossible for me to even think to do something so specific to unlock an item. Another one: I brought all three things to Altasgracias and she gave me an egg i had no idea what to do with it. Tried talking to a couple folks to no avail, then i found out i needed to place it in the Tree and then bring the hatched egg to the Lake. That's complicated but almost doable*.* In the end i reached the final boss and unlocked ending B and i usually call it quits when i reach the end of a game, it's like reading a book for me. I would blame the game design rather than my lack of understanding for not completing it 100%. So my question for you seasoned players is: am i wrong? Can this game be completed without any help?
