Before we start I couldn't afford them and I've just had to treat my budgies for scaly mites - so it wouldn't have been fair

Every time I'd go near they kept 'beep beep-ing' at me and bopping their head 🥺

I'm not sure if they look very healthy either and I don't know much about ring necks unfortunately.

Hope the lil friend finds somewhere they thrive

You may remember Zeus from a post a couple of weeks back 'How do you describe this feeling to non-bird people?' about him snoozing in my hand.

He was an older lad, not sure how many years exactly. Got him from a certified breeder and he'd sired many chicks.

Zeus seemed very off on the morning of 01/05/2026 and I almost cancelled going into work, but figured as I was on a half day it'd be okay. By the time I returned home he was gone.

Rest easy my sweet little lad, I hope you've been reunited with Hermes 🩵
