My Xolair experience & reaction
I started Xolair for my CSU in March. Everything seemed fine. Around my April or May injection I started noticing horribly achy elbows. I also workout in gym so chalked it up to that. June I got a small patch of rash on my neck. Chalked it up to a normal break through. Elbow pain continued. Three days after July injection the small rash patch on my neck became much larger, my entire scalp itched, my ears itched everything from my neck up was highly activated. Did my August injection and 3-10 days after I was absolutely losing my mind. Had a swollen lymph node. The painful elbows. And massive rash covering my chest that not even cortisone, four antihistamines, Benadryl & hydroxyzine would touch. I never took their warnings regarding reactions to Xolair serous since my first injection seemed to work so well. Beware tho they are right reactions to the injection itself can start anytime and usually start after multiple injections. I’ve started Rhapsido in meantime. Xolair is still in my system but Rhapsido has completely knocked down my itch & rash in three days.
