Scooter deals

Where is a good place to find deals on scooters? I see that Amazon and Walmart are having sales right now but I know most if not all won't be good.

I have a Lucky Covenant 2017, seems small

Emotionally intelligent

I saw this in an ad for a job. My brain read it as "autistic people need not apply" (I know autistic people can still be emotionally intelligent. It's just I know public perception is that we aren't.)

Edit: I was not trying to say this was how it was meant. That's why I specifically said it was how I read it. I know I have no proof on how they meant it.

Edit 2: I'm not saying the employer was specifically targeting autistic people. It's just how it made me feel.

And I'm not saying that autistic people can't be emotionally intelligent. I think NT and ND can have emotional intelligence or lack it.

Tracking heat, humidity, etc

It seems like my symptoms are worse when there is a sudden change of temperature or the seasons are changing.

What do you do to help yourself?

Do you track barometric pressure etc and how do you track it?

Not laughing at jokes

Wondering if there are others out there that get jokes when people say them but they still answer logically. I will get the joke but I don't laugh because I don't think it's all that funny. And then I will give a logical response so the person will say, "it was a joke." I will just say "I know". I'm sure that must make me look weird to them.

Now I try to at least smile or give a little laugh but it is forced. Now I know it's masking and that's bad for your health. But good if you want to get along with people.

In my case it might have came from trauma. I had a bad teacher in the second grade. I am thinking maybe she punished kids for laughing. I got switched to a different second grade teacher because she was so terrible. The new second grade teacher told my mom that I would cover my mouth when I laughed.

I remember having to switch classrooms but I don't remember anything about laughing

I am always misunderstood

Someone else took my mom to a doctor appointment. When they were telling me about the appointment, they said something that was incorrect. So I said "I know you are just reporting what was said at the appointment", and then I explained the correct version. I felt it was important for my mom's health. The other person said, "I'm not trying to argue with you." I felt I had already accounted for their feelings with the first half of my statement about how I said I knew they were just saying what was said at the appointment.

It seems no matter how I try to have a conversation, I am always misunderstood.

If I don't give detail before I start talking, the person gets upset. If I add detail before I talk, they get upset anyway. Like they didn't even hear the detail I gave in the beginning.

People always seem to want to prove me wrong even though I don't do that to them.

My family constantly interrupts me. When I say half a sentence, they decide to be angry about it. I am like if you would just let me finish the sentence, then you would see you wouldn't have a reason to be mad.

Example... we got a new freezer. Multiple people were helping to swap food from one freezer to the other. Someone was organizing things that had been put in the wrong basket. When I went to give a basket to my mom, I tried to explain this to her so she would know stuff was rearranged. So I said, "(person) changed what baskets things were in..." interrupted by the person mad at me because they were moving things for a good reason. So I said I know if you would let me finish the sentence I was going to say why you moved the things... "because some of the things were in the wrong baskets"
