Ourtime review: is it actually worth using or just hype?

Signed up for OurTime thinking it would be chill since its marketed for the 40s and 50s crowd looking for something real. From the jump the vibe felt off. The app kept blowing up my notifications with matches like it was poppin, but when I checked who actually viewed my profile the numbers didnt math. Felt manufactured to keep me hooked.

So I tested it, replied to messages with stuff that didnt fully make sense just to see how natural the convos felt, and the responses came back generic and weirdly polished. No personality, no depth, then I turned off auto renew with time still on my sub and out of nowhere my login stopped working. No support, no explanation. Felt like the second I cut the renewal they cut my access.

Dating later in life already takes enough emotional bandwidth without feeling like a transaction. This one wasn't it for me. Anyone else had this experience or was it just me.

Girlfriend activation video review: is it actually helpful?

I've been hearing about the Girlfriend Activation Video and I'm trying to figure out if it's actually legitimate dating advice or just manipulation tactics. Apparently it's associated with Andrew Tate who is a controversial figure. The video supposedly teaches men how to get girlfriends but uses questionable methods that seem pickup artist-ish.

What's making me hesitant is that I've been reading Reddit threads warning against it. People are calling it a scam, associated with toxic masculinity, and manipulation tactics. The community consensus seems to be that it's not legitimate dating advice. But I'm wondering if there's any value or if it's completely worthless. The question is whether this is something to avoid or if I'm being too judgmental.

Is the Girlfriend Activation Video actually helpful? Have you watched it? What's your honest take? Does it teach manipulation or real dating skills? Is Andrew Tate's association a red flag? Should I avoid it completely? What's the community saying about it? Are there better alternatives? What actually works for getting into relationships? Should I look elsewhere for dating advice?

Boo dating app review: does the AI matching actually work?

I've been hearing about Boo and they're marketing it as this AI-powered matching platform. It's got 2M+ users and they claim their algorithm is better at finding compatible matches. The interface looks modern and intuitive with video chat features and safety verification. But I'm skeptical about whether AI matching is actually superior to traditional swiping. What's making me hesitant is that Boo is still relatively new and I'm not sure if the user base is big enough outside major cities. The free version exists but premium is $9.99-$14.99/month. Some people say they get matches but nothing leads anywhere. Others praise the personality-based matching. The question is whether this is actually better than established apps or just riding the AI hype wave. Does Boo actually work or is it overhyped? Have you tried the app? What was the matching quality like? Did you actually meet people from it? Is the AI matching better than regular swiping? What's the user base like in your area? Would you pay for premium or stick with free? How does it compare to Hinge or Bumble? Should I give it a shot?

How can I pay for dating app subscriptions more privately?

This might sound paranoid but I'm looking for ways to pay for dating app subscriptions without it showing up obviously on my bank statements. I'm not doing anything wrong, I just prefer privacy. From what I've researched, Privacy.com lets you create virtual card numbers. There's also Getsby for prepaid cards, and apparently Ashley Madison has billing codes that hide what you're buying. The reason I'm asking is because I share finances with someone and I don't want awkward questions. I know some apps use vague descriptions on statements but I'd rather be extra careful. What options actually work without raising red flags? Does Privacy.com really work for dating apps? Are virtual cards worth the hassle? What about prepaid cards where do you buy them? Has anyone used billing codes successfully? Which method is most reliable? Do any dating apps offer gift cards? What's your go-to method for keeping payments private?

Altscene alternative dating: Any ideas?

I'm considering Altscene for alternative dating but I'm wondering if it's worth trying. I've heard Altscene is for goths, punks, emos, and alternative people. It's free or £6.99/$9.99/month for premium, the community is dying and the interface is old. I'm wondering if Altscene is worth trying for alternative dating.

I'm worried about the platform. I've heard Altscene has TrustScore 2.5/5. I've also heard it's good for friends but not dating. I'm trying to figure out if Altscene is worth trying or if I should look elsewhere.

Is the community really dead? What about the interface? Is it really old? Would you recommend it? What about the niche community? Are there actual people? Should I try it? What about other alternative apps? I'd appreciate advice about Altscene.

Instadate app review: is it worth trying?

I'm tired of endless messaging on dating apps and I'm wondering if Instadate is worth trying. I've heard Instadate focuses on meeting right now instead of messaging endlessly. I've also heard it's free with no subscription required. I've also heard it's for local matching and spontaneous dates. I'm wondering if Instadate is worth trying or if it's just another dating app.

I want to meet people quickly but I also want it to be legitimate. Instadate skips the messaging and gets straight to meeting. I'm trying to figure out if Instadate is worth trying or if I should stick with Hinge or Bumble.

Have you used Instadate? What was your experience? Does it really skip messaging? What about the matching? Is it good? Would you recommend it? What about safety? Is it safe? Should I try it? What about other apps? I'd appreciate advice about Instadate.

I'm wondering if it's weird that I like keeping clothes on during sex because I feel more comfortable. I've heard some people keep their shirt on or stay partially clothed. I've also heard it creates a sense of safety and excitement. I've also heard it's completely normal and just a personal preference. I'm wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way.

The thing that concerns me is that I don't want my partner to think something is wrong with me. I've heard clothed sex can create a different vibe and even a taboo feeling. I've also heard some couples do it regularly without any issues. I'm trying to figure out if this is normal or if I should push myself to be fully naked.

Is it weird? Have you done clothed sex? What was your experience? Does it feel different? What about your partner? Did they mind? Is it about body insecurity? Or just preference? Would you recommend trying it? What about communication? Should I talk to my partner? Is there a reason to be fully naked? I'd appreciate advice about clothed sex.

I'm new to dating apps and I'm nervous about where to start. I've heard Hinge is user-friendly and good for newbies. I've also heard Bumble is intuitive with women messaging first. I've also heard Match is straightforward and established. I'm wondering which app is best for someone trying online dating for the first time.

The thing that concerns me is that I'm intimidated by all the options. I've heard Hinge has quality people. I've also heard Bumble is less pressure because women message first. I'm trying to figure out which app to start with or if I should try multiple.

Which app is best for beginners? Have you started dating apps? What was your experience? Is Hinge really user-friendly? What about Bumble? Is it really less pressure? What about Match? Is it straightforward? What about OkCupid? Is it good for introverts? Would you recommend one? Should I focus on one app or try multiple? What tips do you have? I'd appreciate advice about starting dating apps.

I'm tired of Grindr and I'm looking for an alternative gay dating app. I've heard Growlr is a gay bear dating app. I've also heard it's free and has a live streaming feature. I've also heard Reddit says people are nicer on Growlr than Grindr. I'm wondering if Growlr is actually worth trying or if it's just another mediocre app. The thing that concerns me is that I don't want to switch to an app that's worse than Grindr. I've heard Growlr has a dedicated bear community focus. I've also heard there are some fake profiles and recent experience issues. I'm trying to figure out if Growlr is a good alternative or if I should stick with Grindr. Is it worth trying? Have you used it? What was your experience? Is it really better than Grindr? How's the community? Are people nicer? What about fake profiles? Would you recommend it? What about Scruff? Is that better? Should I try Growlr? I'd appreciate advice about Growlr dating app.

I keep hearing people talk about hard launching their relationship but I'm confused about what it means. I've heard hard launch means going public with your relationship on social media. I've also heard it means posting tagged photos with your partner's face showing. I've also heard it's the opposite of soft launch. I'm wondering why people use this term or if it's just trendy slang. The thing that concerns me is that the term feels weird to me. I've heard it comes from black dating culture but now everyone uses it. I've also heard some people dislike the term as too trendy. I'm trying to figure out if hard launch is actually a real relationship milestone or just social media hype. What does hard launch really mean? Is it necessary? Have you hard launched? What was your experience? Why do people use this term? Is it just social media? What about people who don't post? Does not hard launching mean something? Should I hard launch mine? Is it important? I'd appreciate explanation about hard launch.

I'm considering WhatsYourPrice but I'm hearing mixed things about it. I've heard it's a date auction marketplace where men bid on dates. I've heard people save $50-150 per date. I've also heard the Trustpilot rating is extremely low at 1.03 stars. I've also heard major complaints about fake profiles and women canceling after accepting offers. I'm wondering if WhatsYourPrice is actually worth trying or if it's just full of fakes.

The thing that concerns me is that I don't want to waste money bidding on fake profiles. I've heard Reddit feedback says it's worse than Seeking Arrangement. I've also heard people complain about low-ball bids and women not following through. I'm trying to figure out if WhatsYourPrice actually works or if I should avoid it.

How many fake profiles are there? Have you used it? What was your experience? Did you actually get dates? How much did you bid? Did women follow through? Would you recommend it? What about Seeking Arrangement? Is it better than other dating sites? I'd appreciate advice about WhatsYourPrice.

I'm a city girl thinking about trying Farmers Only to meet country guys. I've heard it's been around since 2005 and has success stories. I've also heard there are real matches on there. I've also heard that members are like-minded and into country lifestyle. I'm wondering if Farmers Only is actually worth trying or if it's just a gimmick.

The thing that concerns me is that I've heard the member pool is pretty small because it's so niche. I've heard the interface is slow and not user-friendly. I'm also wondering if city girls are even welcome on there or if guys expect me to move to a farm. I'm trying to figure out if Farmers Only is worth my time or if I should stick with mainstream apps.

Is Farmers Only worth trying? How big is the member pool? Are city girls welcome? Do guys expect you to relocate? What about the interface? Have you used Farmers Only? What worked? Would you recommend it? Are there real people? What about success stories? I'd appreciate advice about Farmers Only dating.
