My friend had an offer from Company X in 2018. He submitted all documents for BGC and Onboarding but decided against joining the company later and never joined. He joined another company and worked there for 8 years before switching to a new organisation recently.

Now, in his new organisation, they have flagged a BGC dispute claiming that there is another UAN created on his name and is Aadhar/PAN linked which is overlapping with other employment for 15-20 days.

My friend only has one UAN since his first employment and the same was provided to every company that he has worked in.

Now how can he get rid of this duplicate UAN created on his name and delink from Aadhar? The company has provided entry and exit days for this new UAN.

My friend needs some urgent help. I will explain the issue.

My friend had an offer from Company X in 2018. BGV was initiated and Onboarding documents were submitted in the company's portal but he didn't join the company. He chose to work for another company for all these years.

Now, after 8 years he has joined another company and the BGV has failed mentioning that there is an overlap of employment with company X and last company for 15-20 days.

It seems that the Company X has created a UAN service history or PF details from the employer side for 3 months without his notice which is getting fetched in BGV now but there is absolutely NO service history record in UAN Member portal of that company when he logs in and checks so there is no option of de-linking as well. He is not sure from where it is getting reflected to the BGV company.

How can he tackle this situation from the EPFO/UAN side to get this fixed as the new company HR has already flagged this and asked for explanation which he provided but he is very worried.
