My situation:

> First employment: my PF qualifying salary/basic was above 715k when I joined EPF, so 1 was correctly treated as non-EPS.
> In my second employment, my basic dropped below $15k and the employer enrolled me into EPS.
> Third employment continued the EPS status.

Earlier, my PF transfer from the first account to the latest account kept getting rejected because of this EPS/non-EPS mismatch.

After multiple grievances and after submitting salary slips proving my first employment salary was above the EPS threshold, the transfer was finally completed successfully.

Now I applied for withdrawal of PF AND EPS, and
EPFO is again using the same issue/reasoning.

Their grievance reply says my account was
"erroneously transferred as non-EPS" and that they will do "EPS bifurcation corrections".

But my understanding is:
If I was not eligible for EPS in my first employment, then I should never have been enrolled into EPS later either.
So shouldn't the fix be removal of EPS altogether instead of bifurcating contributions?

Am I misunderstanding EPS eligibility rules here, or is EPFO handling this incorrectly?

And they're responding very rudely when I called and tried to understand the situation.

I'm about to join a Faang company

The exit date from my previous company (Company A) and the joining date at my current company (Company B) are the exact same. I did not know about this issue until a few days ago.

This happened because at Company A, I was doing a night shift and I joined Company B in the morning.

I did not know this will cause problems later on.

I reached out to Company A and they're not ready to change the Exit Date.

Please tell me what I should do without the help of my employers

Can I withdraw full EPS contribution after 8yrs of service, not EPF?

If yes, and I withdraw EPS now, will my next employer have to contribute to eps or can it be skipped, given my next employer's salary is greater than 15000 per month?

My intent is to discontinue EPS in the future, which I was subscribed to because of my starting lower salary.

Epfo rejected form 13 fund transfer for Eps deduction which is done correctly

Hi All,

My recent pf transfer request got rejected with comments...

Higher wages member why eps deduction.

Background:

Till now they were rejecting for missing annexure k and eps. God knows if that is fixed or not.

I started my career in 2012 and since then I had eps deduction in every job irrespective of my payscale.

I understand that once you become part of eps, the deduction should continue in subsequent jobs irrespective of the payscale.

I fail to understand why epfo rejected my transfer request when eps deduction are done properly. Don't they have the service history to verify this ?

Suggest me what I can do as a member to get my pf transferred?

Note -

1. UAN is same for all companies. In A , PF is managed through trust, rest B-F through EPFO.
2. Company B and F are same, the PF account number differs. Currently PF amount is in B and F only rest other PF amounts are transferred to F. Goal is to consolidate all PF to Company F PF account.
3. Basic Salary + DA @ Company A was below 7730 and 1100 respectively, PF contribution was 1060. Hence subscribed to EPS.

Hi my name in UAN portal and Aadhar is same, but the name in Income tax portal is different
My name starts with R K in aadhar and uan, but in Income tax portal its Abbreviated as RAJ KUMAR. But my physical PAN card has R K written
Which one should i fill in the “Name as per PAN” section?

My phone number was changed and updated in Aadhaar, and it is correctly reflected in my EPFO member account. However, the passbook login has not yet synced. I am unable to log in using my EPFO member password.

Additionally, when I checked through the UMANG app, I noticed that my EPFO passbook is still linked to my old mobile number. As a result, I am unable to fetch my balance or raise a grievance, since OTP verification is being sent to the old number.
