Waited an extra 3 weeks for viability ultrasound ❤️

Waited an extra 3 weeks for viability ultrasound ❤️

Omg waiting was so hard! My insurance said they would fully cover the viability ultrasound but it had to be through an OB not my fertility clinic. After feeling absolutely tapped financially, I decided to decline the 6.5 week ultrasound from my clinic and just schedule with an OB. Unfortunately their first opening wasn’t until August 17th! My FET was July 2nd so the wait felt like forever. So excited I made it to the day and baby girl looks perfect. Strong heartbeat of 170, and measuring one day ahead of schedule. I’m absolutely exhausted and nauseous every night but feeling so grateful. Honestly the symptoms are reassuring.

For context I’m 37, my husband is 40 and this was our first round of IVF. We have a three year old who was conceived naturally in 2022. This transfer was one of our 3 euploid embryos from our retrieval in April. Embryo was a 5AA, modified natural cycle. Sending all the love and baby dust to everyone on here!

Beta Results

So my transfer was July 2nd and I tested and got a positive 8 days post. My first beta just came back and was 397… is it really possible and needed for this to DOUBLE in 48 hours?? If you had a successful pregnancy after FET did you beta double at 48 hrs? Testing again tomorrow at the local hospital. We are cabin camping the next two weeks so I’ve been trying to see if the hcg lines are gradually getting darker.

8dp5dt faint line!

I’m so happy but somehow still so anxious! I had in my mind that if it was positive, by now it would be darker?? I’m about 7.5 days post transfer so I know it’s early but I couldn’t wait any longer 😭❤️❤️ should I just buy a couple more tests and check again tomorrow? It’s Friday and first beta isn’t until Monday afternoon

My 5AA embryo transferred 2 days ago ☺️

Trying to stay really positive! This is our first round with IVF and we have 3 euploid 5AA embryos. 1 girl and 2 boys! This is the female and feels like my only chance at having a daughter so I feel a little extra pressure waiting through this new experience. I’m 37, my hubs just turned 40. We luckily have a perfect little boy who just turned 3 and was conceived naturally, but struggling with secondary infertility due to moderate male factor. Excited and scared during this TTW ❤️ I did weeks of acupuncture and hyperbaric chamber treatments and was ready to trigger by CD 13 which is really early for me! We did a modified natural cycle, just a trigger shot and progesterone started 2 days before transfer.

During ER we did a gentle protocol, 9 days of stim meds, retrieved 13 eggs, 11 mature, 6 fertilized with ICSI, 4 made it to blast and 3 euploid after PGT. The attrition rate is crazy.

Extra meds/Seattle

Hi there! I did an egg retrieval in April and my friend gave me some of her meds from her August retrieval to help keep costs down. I responded so well that I only used 9 out of the 12 days worth of meds and have about 1200 units of Follistim, and 14mg Leoprolide Acetate if anyone in the Seattle area could use it! They should be used by early July.
