Milwaukee M18 HOTSHOT Jump Starter: Can It Really Handle 3.0L Diesel Engine Starts?
I have a 2022 Winnebago View 24D RV which is powered by a 3.0 liter V6 BlueTEC turbo-diesel engine. I want to purchase a super capacitor jump start system to keep in my RV in case I need a jump start. I know the Milwaukee M18 HOTSHOT is rated for “up to 3.0L diesel” engines. Since my engine is at the top of the Milwaukee specification, will I be happy with its performance? Or, should I purchase a similarly priced super capacitor jump starter like the KleenPower 6000A Super Capacitor Jump Starter which someone recommended on a post yesterday. I always carry plenty of M18 batteries in my RV for other tools already, so I like the size and weight savings on the Milwaukee jump starter vs the KleenPower one. Help me decide with some real world experience, please, which makes this subreddit so useful!
