Any thoughts on changes compared to last year?
Hexagon and Aburi Hana almost surely will lose their stars since they've lost their chefs and have been temporarily closed for months, unless they get their act together soon.
Mexico's Michelin Guide for 2026 published today.
For the first time, Michelin also rated restaurants in the Mexican states of Jalisco, Puebla, and Yucatan.

Any restaurant from 2025 not mentioned above retained its designation.
The move doesn't come as a surprise considering they removed it as a searchable category from their website a few months ago, but they were still giving this out as recently as two weeks ago for the Quebec ceremony.
In total the Green star lasted six years, first starting in 2020.

No demotions/promotions to previously starred restaurants.
Per the annual list published by "Canada's 50 Best Bars". This is the first time a bar from Quebec was ranked #1.
Montreal bars on the list:
Methodology: "Thank you to our panel of cross-country judges. We asked them to rank their five top bar experiences over the last 16 months. They could not vote for a bar in which they had a personal or financial interest and they were required to include one bar outside their home province or region."
