BMW x3 uk - cannot access torx bolt to take out spark plug

Anyone have any idea how to remove the ignition coil bolt? I don’t have enough room with my wrench to get under that connector thing (the second from the bottom spark plug).

I watched loads of videos and the us spec engines don’t seem to have this thing on top of the ignition coil.

Also I may have stripped one of the plugs trying to remove it but that’s a problem for another day

Thanks

Hi all,

I need to replace my spark plugs on my 2020 BMW X3 xdrive 2.0 and am having a major overthinking meltdown of which plugs I need.

I’m in the UK and all of the auto parts sites here allow you to enter your vehicle registration (licence plate) and they recommend which plugs to buy.

The official NGK parts finder website recommends the SILZKGR8C8S model plugs for my specific car and year however every retailer website I’ve entered my information into recommends the SILZKGR8B8S

They appear to be the similar when I look at the specs but I really don’t want to buy the wrong ones.

It’s driving me bonkers. Any ideas?
