my hinge game genuinely improved over the last couple months and i think i know why

not gonna pretend i was terrible before but my conversations def had a pattern of going nowhere after the first few exchanges

started being more intentional about actually referencing stuff from their profile instead of just vibing generically. sounds obvious but i was lazy about it before

also started using an AI tool (haiku) just to get ideas when i blanked on what to say - not to copy paste but more like a starting point. ended up being more useful as a way to see why some openers work vs others

now im actually going on dates with people i genuinely have stuff in common with instead of just whoever matched. quality > quantity shift was real

ps: check my bio for the tool

not a big fan of cooking but these are my initial attempts. how do they look?

so i made this little AI tool for hinge a couple months back - mostly bc i wanted to see if i could, not bc i had some grand vision. its called haiku and it basically helps you craft replies based on the other persons profile

honestly expected like 5 users including my friends. turns out a lot of people feel the same way i did about conversations just dying for no reason

the feedback thats been most surprising is people saying they actually learned from it?? like they stopped needing it after a while bc they got better at texting. didnt build it to be a teaching tool but here we are

still figuring out growth. anyone else here built something in the dating/social space? curious what worked for you

Forget McLeodGanj crowds. I just spent a few days in Kareri Village, and it’s pure, untouched magic. No phone network, just insane Dhauladhar views, cold alpine air, and stunning treks to the frozen lake. If you need to unplug and actually breathe, this is it.
