Florida - "missed interview" but literally cannot get through to someone using the number

my SNAP app got denied bc i missed my interview (which, i was not even notified to schedule one despite me indicating i want email notifications to do so) even though i was calling multiple times a day but legitimately never got through to an actual person.

how do I even troubleshoot this bc again.... i cant even get through to anyone to even discuss re-scheduling an interview...

copying entire subscribed calendar to personal calendar (so i can color code)?

kinda new to using google calendar and my school has the class schedule (changes frequently) in this jank website so I imported it into my google calendar/subscribed to it via URL (i don't wanna use ics file bc they tend to change stuff).

However when I do that I can't color code things (like mandatory vs non-mandatory things, etc). I know I can mandatory copy everything to my personal calendar, but that is tedious. Any work arounds? My ultimate goal is just to color code the events

research in med school? finding it + executing

really broad post and I've read so many guides and things on here on how to find research, etc. but it is still a little vague to me how you go about finding a productive PI/research project that will actually result in a publication and is worth your time.

everyone says to just cold email which makes sense but are you researching every PI that you email and seeing how often they publish/what their timelines are?

in undergrad, i assisted a grad student in wet lab research and did not do any of the actual critical thinking (coming up w/ the experiments, hypothesis, etc) and did NOT do any of the paper writing. despite helping consistently for around 450 hours in the span of a year throughout junior/senior yr, the paper is still "in progress" and i think i'll be listed 3rd author (an undergrad who helped after i graduated is apparently getting second author). mind you i'm like 2+ years from this project already.

thus i'm a bit worried i have no idea how clinical research works, how to write abstracts/do analysis, etc. are there any resources on how to learn these skills independently? i don't imagine an upperclassman or the PI will be v willing to handhold for all of it loll
