I was wondering what everyone's recommendation for wireless mice are and preferably one where the side rubber won't rub away like this!

Location is Red Deer Alberta, Canada ! I was just wondering if this is something that would benefit from being let go outside or can I keep him? He's soon cute and was crawling on my hand !
