ISO Base Stabilizer
Hello folks! Looping back to my last post here, my Switch2 was experiencing a separation between the base piece and the tower which houses the electronics. DRD is the best, and is replacing the base unit. :)

I don't want to repeat this! Who has links or has base stabilizers for sale? 😎
Base Seperation
Hello folks! I appreciate all the help in this community! I have recently noticed that the base of my Swtich2 is starting to seperate from the tower part, and I'm not sure if this is normal, but I can prop it back into place for the most part. As I was cleaning it the two sides separated and exposed the battery parts.
Any suggestions or is this typical with the device? Surely, I will be careful of it. Would it also be wise to consider a custom base like some of the 3D printed ones?
I didn't read the manual
Welp.. I soaked the metal plate that goes over the induction heating hole and gromet for the glass, in Iso. I have done this before, but I recently watched Cewpins video on YT, and learned the manual explicitly says not to. Now the black finish inside is chipping off and is just exposed metal.
Granted, it's not flaking into the chamber and it's only on the inside but I have a feeling like spiderweb cracks in glass, it will spread.
Is it something I should be eager to replace? I know Dr. Dabber doesn't sell them separately on the site, but I bet the customer service can help me.
Should I be worried? I can get a pic later if it helps!
