The only info I could find is that sprog is an English slang term for child. is Sprog’s actual name mentioned anywhere in the greater mad max lore?

Cryptozoo is an animated feature film about a group of women who have created a sanctuary for Cryptids from all over the world, trying to protect them from the changing, crumbling ecosystems and also from the US military, who is hunting these rare creatures to potentially use as biological/ chemical weapons.

I can’t say exactly what it was that reminded me of Watership Down while watching this movie maybe it was the obvious care the author had for the creatures they were portraying or the mysteries around the cryptids, which reminded me of El-ahrairah’s adventures and all the weird animals he met but anyway, this is a great movie really unique illustration style and it’s free on Tubi if anybody’s looking for some new media.

I remember I was in third grade and a local network television station was going to show Mad max. I think it was channel 56, and there was lots of ads and hype leading up to it to the point where all the kids on the bus were talking about watching. I remember one kid had a really conservative mother and she had seen the ads as well and knew her son wanted to watch it so on the night it was showing she forbid him from watching television and sent him to bed early. He ended up, listening on the radio, and we all talked about it the next day on the bus

In Mad Max, Jesse and Sproggy went under the wheels of the gang’s motorcycles. then of course there’s the famous line in fury Road, “she went under the wheels”, which Max says out loud to the others in the trucks cabin after Splendid falls to her death. He’s describing the current situation (a “wife” pregnant with child perishing) and also calling back to what happened to his own wife and child

I was driving from Worcester to providence on 146 when traffic suddenly came to a stop. A couple cars got rear ended then we passed another accident off to the side of the road and standing there on the side of the road was a completely naked guy seemingly acting like everything was normal… what is going on? Anyone else see it?
