Had another good night bashing with my dad. Didn’t hit the jump exactly how he planned and chaos ensued.
Front battery hold down came out in an earlier crash somehow and this landing finished the job. You can actually see the hold down on the ground in this video.
Nothing was broken and we were able to rip around after. That Notorious is so fun to watch!
Gave the Talion a little scrub today. Loving these JConcepts Choppers (4187), Maxx size. They absolutely rip. Good air control and loads more traction. This thing finally wheelies which is saying something for the length.
Finally got in some 4S batteries that fit nicely. Hit 70mph which isnt too bad for this platform. Absolutely mental bottom end power on it, tears everything up.

Was ripping on the grass today with my new Talion and suddenly I only had FWD. Inner bearing is gonzo and the raceway is stuck in my bulkhead. Gears also got a little wear on them in that short burst too.
What a weird thing to have happen. Oh well, I’ll file a warranty claim and get it all dealt with. No worries, all part of the tour. Happy bashing guys!!!
Met up with a friend tonight at the local BMX track. I’ve hit that tabletop jump many times but jumping into the baseball diamond was a first for me. It’s only a little sketchy with that cage sitting there waiting to be smashed into 😂

Always fun tearing the Kraton apart and giving everything a once over. Quite a few broken parts this time, time to tighten it all up and get back to some bashing!
Was ripping around with the Kraton and getting ready to go home. Did a couple rips on the grass and it ended with several cartwheels at a good speed. All part of the fun. I enjoy maintaining this rig when I have to.
I totally forgot I told my LHS to order this body in for me. My dad tipped me off and I had to grab it. Worth the price as it comes with everything you need. I’ll had to keep that one in good shape.
Also got surprised with another delivery for the GPM battery strap setup. Way more battery options open now. Currently running a Teranty 3300mAh 3S, AliExpress special.
Had an absolute blast the first time I really got out this year. But lots of monster jumps and a couple fluke spin outs and it was game over. Broke everywhere there wasn’t already Shoe Goo for the most part. All glued up and stitched back together now! Time to send it all over again.
