Scott World Cup vs Yeti ASR

I posted a couple of days ago regarding a Scott Spark World Cup vs Epic and I appreciate all the responses.

I have since come across another option - Yeti ASR. The rear has a little less travel (115 vs 120) and i am intrigued.

I don’t really race and the Yeti looks to be a bit more slack, which might translate to a slightly comfier ride? I’m 6’ and would ride a large.

Has anyone ridden both bikes and can offer a comparison?

Replacing my 2018 Scott World Cup - Epic vs another Scott

I’ve had a 2018 Scott Spark RC World Cup since new and love the bike, but want something with 120mm instead of 110mm.

I should add - no one around me has either bike for testing.

I’ve landed on 2 bikes - Specialized Epic Pro vs the Scott Spark World Cup.

Thinking either 2024 or 2026, depending on a handful of things.

Flight Attendant- the Epic and the 2025 Scott both have FA. The 2024 Scott does not. With that said, I’m not sure how “great” it is. I definitely get pretty lazy on switching the suspension on my current bike, so maybe it would be nice to have it done automatically?

Travel and Ride - I’ve read that Scott’s frame fork does something a little funky in the middle position to accommodate FA. Not sure if that’s a big deal?

Ride feel - I had a specialized stump jumper before the Scott (back when it was a hard tail) and loved it. I also love my Scott. Geometry between the two is very very close, so not sure if there is much a ride feel difference.

For perspective- I live in northern Michigan and ride mostly single track, some “easy” downhill stuff, and general urban exploring.

Scott Spark World Cup - 2024 vs 2025

Looking to replace my 2018 Scott Spark World Cup with something a little newer.

Am looking at either a 2024 or 2025 and I am not sure there are enough differences to justify the added costs for the 2025?

Does Oura Ring 5 track heart rate 24x7?

I had an oura 4 and replaced it with ringconn as the oura didn’t track continuous heart rate throughout the day. Ringconn does.

Unfortunately, ringconn doesn’t integrate with Apple Health to the level that Oura does.

Does the new Oura 5 improve heart rate monitoring, or is still primarily only recording continuously during the night?

Auto Broker Recommendation - Michigan?

Can anyone recommend a solid auto broker in Michigan (tho I guess it doesn’t matter where they live)?

I abhor the hours of clicking and searching to find specifically what I want and am willing to to pay a broker to do that for me.

Backyard Discovery Henley Experience

Would like to hear from BD Henley owners on their thoughts of that specific sauna.

I’ve read a bunch on the Lennox, but want to hear specifically from anyone who has the Henley model - how do you like it, things you changed, etc.

I’ve had a Ridge wallet for a couple of years now, mostly bc I just haven’t found a suitable replacement. The Ridge kind of destroys my cards and I have to take all off them out to find the one I need.

I typically carry about 9 cards and a $20 bill.

I keep the wallet in my front pocket.

I just want something easy, slim, and good looking… that can handle those cards. Budget isn’t a huge issue if it’s a great wallet.

After a fair of amount of thinking and research, have decided to go the kit route vs a DIY. Mostly for cost and time reasons as the two kits I am considering are both less than what I could DIY a sauna.

And yes, I know the height isn’t ideal and the seats aren’t to spec, etc, etc… but I’ve read enough reviews that I’m not going to notice enough of a difference to justify the thousands of extra dollars for diy.

So…. Sam’s Club has Backyard Discovery and Costco had Almost Heaven - both kits are cube kits, seat 4-6, and are nearly identical with the exception of the heaters (and a few other things).

The BD is is almost $2200 less, has a heater that is more powerful and has remote capabilities…. It also is a not-known heater.

The AH is n established heater with only manual control and is a bit smaller.

I am leaning toward the BD because… well…. $2200 is a lot of extra money.

For those that have either, any thoughts or suggestions?
