VST vs. ANET. Both well off their highs. Which is the winner? Got $4k to spend.

I already have a very small position (8 shares) in ANET and it’s done OK. it is “overvalued” on a PE level for many, but so are the majority of “AI” play stocks.

Conversely, Vistra is an AI energy play and I don’t hold anything in that sector. I do own the XLE and have some OXY shares as well.

While I know this is not financial advice: would you throw the $4k into expanding the ANET position? Or open one up in VST?

HPE? “Cheap” entry into the AI mania?

Trading near 52 week highs but still “cheap” given that “valuations don’t matter” on many AI-related companies. Anyone buying this to trade or hold long? I own about 50 shares nothing big.

BofA resumes Bentley Systems stock coverage with buy rating By Investing.com lo

It looks tempting to me. Trades at 23x forward PE. 50 day moving average is a bit over $35. 200 day moving average is $43.08.

RSI in the mid 40’s.

.86% dividend (hey it’s something).

Personally I don’t hold this yet, but it’s tempting as decent-looking non-tech stock. What do you think?

BA and C are going to China this week w/ Trump to discuss trade. You in?

https://www.cnbc.com/2026/05/07/trump-china-boeing-kelly-ortberg.html

How do you feel this impacts the stock prices of Boeing and Citi? Boeing has been steadily going up while Citi has also done pretty well recently.

Many analysts think Citi is the best bank play right now. Boeing is a duopoly and isn’t going anywhere. Supposedly China wants to order quite a few planes from BA, despite their long order backlog.

I have a very small position in BA and wish I had more. None yet in C but am considering as a buy and hold to offset all the AI volatility.

Both Sony and Nintendo are trading near their 52 week lows. They have solid products: Sony has their cameras, game systems, electronics, and god knows what else.

Nintendo has the switch 2, which certainly isn’t a cheap product but the platform has been a solid performer for years. They obviously have a ton of IP. I’m not a gamer these days but they must have another system in the pipeline.

Any of you hold either of these? I picked up some NTDOY today with earnings coming soon. Thinking of doing the same with SONY.

Disclosure: I hold 408 shares of NTDOY. No SONY at the time of this post.

If it’s anything like past Parro’s buys, their LEO trades are in good condition. I got a Glock 27 from them and it came with the box and either 2 or 3 mags. Unsure on this one.

In the US, HUD is telling realtors it is now OK to discuss school data and crime stats when advising clients.

If you’re a realtor, do you plan to act on this?

Currently trading around $12.50/share USD. This trails the 200 day moving average of $14.28 and slightly below the 50 day of $12.93. Forward PE is 18.85. 52 week high share price is $16.74.

The yield is near 10%, with an earnings report later this week.

Anyone hold Telus? One of Canada’s largest mobile carriers. Very nice dividend yield (maybe too high).

I’m thinking of buying some.

I was listening to a value investor podcast today, and in the end they said they’d “start a small position” in CSGP. Any out there hold this?

The link below has an analysis that states the stock is roughly 40% undervalued.

I’m inclined to go with AMZN. Seems like they’re going to have a good report. However some stocks still get crushed after great quarters (see NVDA after the last call).
