I’ve finally received the PZ3 LE after waiting for so long, and will finally be cracking open my limited edition sets I’ve been waiting so long to build, for some weird reason my limited collection being the focus for some people which has caused me to make the decision to just leave

People think I’m a scalper for collecting limited edition sets from the start of the year to now (flak gun - Jagdtiger) and not building them? because of one idiotic comment on a post I made weeks back, of someone asking why I don’t build them

1: don’t have the space
2: I didn’t want to build them at the time
3: I want to do it in my own time. Nobody is obliged to build a set when you want them to

Mods won’t listen to me, so I’m adding this onto this post **don’t dm me calling me a scalper because you can’t think for yourself.** I received a shit ton of negative backlash a few days ago on my now deleted F117 post, because the same person commented and when I explained myself I got downvoted and dm’d. I’ve had fun posting in this subreddit considering it’s the only reason I’m on Reddit but il be stepping back for a bit, I’ve explained myself, I know I’m not a shitty scalper. I’ve been selling sealed and used cobi for under the market price cheap for years, I’ve sold to a few people on here, so it’s a shame I feel pushed out of the subreddit because a couple idiots can’t keep to themselves.

Oh my god. Let me start, building this set wasn’t that bad until I got to the third packet. The first packet was alright. You had to build the base, so that would be the back of the plane and the front of it with the middle, with the Bombay door and then you had to do the wings, all of that was fine I went through it quickly. It was very straightforward. The second packet you had to build up the base of the F117 which wasn’t that bad until you got to the end pages, where you have to put the sides on;

because the middle is so flimsy if you push too hard all of it comes off so you have to take your time with it which was a bit of a problem not too much of a problem because if you take your time and you focus, it’s fine. I got through the second packet just fine.

The third packet was the worst. The first problem for me was building the back portion of the Nighthawk, where it’s held in by two two-piece parts and one four piece part, nothing else, when you get to the front portion of the backend you’ll notice once it’s all attached, there is a little slope that gets bigger on one side as it’s attached

with the other two pieces, if you push too hard putting the tails on they come off the whole back end is just delicate to the point where it’s not even fun. It’s just tedious and the final bit being the fuselage that was a pain to put on.

It’s just one huge piece and you’ve got to push it in on all side of this very delicate way if you push too hard something comes off and you have to go back a couple steps to fix it overall 8 out of 10 build not great not terrible wouldn’t buy again wouldn’t build again.

Honestly never saw myself getting the IV/70, but it was on offer, so i had to pick it up.

Because I hate my fingers and wanted to punish myself I decided I will be building some new sets (honestly just to make space for other ones il be buying) can say it’s been weeks maybe months since I actually built a cobi set and forgot how painful it can be, best one by far was the Mig21. Straight forward, fun build, short build and good end product. Worst one and I mean worst one was the DUKW (holy shit). Having to work with more tiny pieces and side builds than you’d actually expect out of it, 2nd place for worst build experience goes to the Komet, just tedious and full of tiny parts. And the last is F35, enjoyable but it had its frustrations.

Just glad I got them done honestly.
