Seems like the new thing I'm hearing is that they're closing some field offices and moving those employees to campuses/other large IRS buildings that are not set up for field employees.
I've heard this happened or is happening in KC, Philadelphia and Nashville or Memphis.
Any other places this is happening at?
For those affected, how has the experience been, terrible I would imagine?
Recently I posted about having had enough of the issues with Ally Invest that I would be moving my money out to a different brokerage. I had money in 2 other brokerages (RH and Computershare) and decided now was a good time to convince everything into one account.
I initiated the transfers through the new brokerage 11 days ago.
Both RH and Computershare were moved and available in the new account within a week. I've already got a paper check for partial shares sold at Computershare.
Ally invest? 11 days later and still waiting for my securities to show up.
They removed access to my invest account the same exact day as the others, but now 5 days later and still waiting..... They are just the worst for no reason at all.
In the meantime, I have one stock that shot up almost 30%in a day that I would have sold...yet I'm stuck not being able to access my shares as they now start going back down
I guess one last big fuck you from Ally Invest.on the way out
Just a bitchy rant but:
The amount of issues I've had with Ally invest is disgraceful. I feel like an idiot for giving them chance after chance after chance over the years. I've had enough now.
Slowly in the process of moving all of my investments and banking to Schwab.
I've never really had issues with the savings or checking accounts at Ally, but the issues with their invest side will cause them to lose all of my accounts.
Central area general program GS-13 positions have been posted on USA jobs.
Personally not applying, none in my POD and RTO have made the ones closest to me unattractive, but good luck to anyone that does apply.
Already purchased, but curious if this was a good deal for $900
