It is a handheld that just works. I've had the Steamdeck, Legion GO and MSI claw - GPD can legitimately be my everyday PC. And whenever I get wooed by new stuff from AYN, Ayaneo and Retroid, I just fire up Retroarch and get my old school fix. (Games are TMNT: Hyperstone Heist and TMNT: Splintered Fate)

Also, the OG grips help quite a bit and I did the back panel swap w/ fan. Easy install and cools down the system a bit (no data, just anecdotally) Next would be getting the GPD egpu, make it a true powerhouse.

Damn, High on Fire, was sooo good. So much raw energy! Jeff, Matt & Ben were in total sync - Ben's drums were absolutely thunderous - he's a joy to watch behind the kit. Venue was tiny too ... If you get a chance to see them live, do it.

The "biggest" show I recorded on it was when Bon Iver opened for Black Mountain at the Mid East club upstairs. Both bands on Jagjaguwar, and For Emma Forever ago had just come out. Such a lovely show.
