Howzit guys, in the process of selling my car privately and I have a buyer that is interested. They want to pay cash. I have just got roadworthy done and collected all the paperwork from the traffic department. Want to know what is the best way forward so I don’t get caught up with any issues? Do I collect the cash, do all the paperwork with them, let them take the car and then guy to the traffic department with documents or how does this work?
Please let me know what the standard practice is to ensure no one get done in and transfer is down correctly
I’ve only been in one SDR role at the same company and it’s been close to a year now so I don’t have much experience with how other companies run their teams. I feel like my current set up is not great tho. We have a shared spreadsheet that we update live and are constantly tracked. It’s myself and 1 other SDR cold calling and we have to update after every call with company name, who we spoke with, what the outcome was and add notes. This is for connected calls only and we are expected to hit 20 a day.
Of course we need to track calls and management needs to see us calling but is it normal/ necessary to be hounded all day saying we need to call more you need to be at x many calls by this time. Like damn just let me do what I need to do I’ll hit my quota.
Any way my question is, is this normal and what your guys thoughts.
I’m selling my car (Nissan np200 16v) with 107xxx km on the clock, hoping to get around R95 k for it. Car is in over all great condition for its age, interior has no issues, exterior has some defects (slightly faded plastics, abit of rust in the back and had to get the roof resprayed recently) but over all is in good condition. I used to be a detailer so have done what I can to get it looking its best. But it has a very slow leak from a power steering fluid pipe. It needs to be topped up every 2 months or so. Should I get the sorted before selling or do I just cut my losses and sell as is? (I will make aware to new buyer)
I’m currently 1 month away from a full year of being a junior business developer (appointment setter) and what a ride it has been. 3 months in I was top of the leader board month after month, hitting commission, getting shout outs in company meetings, promises for promotion after 6 months and then boom out of now where barley hitting quota, struggling to book meetings and it just never came back.
Here I am now scrapping by, hating the job that I once loved and wanting to change careers, the thing is it was so good for the first 6-7 months and know all I think is the second I find another role I’m out and never doing this shit again.
Also worth noting the company has changed drastically! Went from 13 JSDs when I started now at 2, my self and another guy and we have the most ridiculous rules and processes to follow now as if the role wasn’t tough enough. The company is a fintech and base pay for this role is nothing fantastic but for where I live gets you by.
Any sale veterans out there with some advice, do I stick it out, maybe look for the same role at another company?
Hi guys, got a friend selling a 1L 2018 polo tsi, comfort line with around 100k on the clock. Not sure on the longevity of these cars but it seems like a good deal, it has a full service history with VW and they have been the only owners. They are asking for R185k. My question is, is it a good deal?
I was originally looking at a vivo as this was more in my budget but I think I can stretch it knowing it’s a good purchase and I know the owner very well, but it is also very much so on the higher side of my budget so hoping it can last.
Thoughts?
