When we picked up our gecko from a reptile store the person behind the counter convinced me they wouldnt need a heat lamp since we live in the desert. 🤦‍♀️ Poor thing wasn't growing and not very active. After a few months we put in a lamp and he's clearly much happier. Also sits on his mushroom and watches us. Even darts at my hand when I had water and food because he thinks I'm a cricket. 🥲 love him so much.
