Can I access the Emirates lounge while flying non-Qantas metal that has a QF flight number?

According to Qantas "When travelling on a flight with a Qantas (QF) or Emirates (EK) flight number on your ticket". Does this mean that I can access the Emirates lounge in Singapore while flying non-Qantas metal? It's a little ambiguous!

Whenever a NHS doctor says Australia over tests:

"An independent medical expert, instructed by the coroner, found Libby had not been able to open her bowels for some days and that should have aroused suspicion among medics that she did not have gastroenteritis, as a usual symptom was diarrhoea.

The report found multiple chances were missed for a scan of her stomach to be undertaken and an operation could have successfully treated her blocked intestine.

Dr Michael Stewart, group chief medical officer for North Tees and Hartlepool and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts, told the inquest he offered "an unreserved and sincere apology for the missed opportunities in Libby's care".

Mods should enforce a no referral link rule for Amex

I've been a part of the sub for a while now and I've noticed a huge increase in the number of people providing Amex referral links.

I'm not necessarily against it (indeed, I own an ultimate), but I feel it is creating an incentive to distort the type of advice given. Lots of people inappropriately pushing Amex Ultimate, even when there there's better options etc with higher bonuses.

I wonder whether Mods / community should take a harder line on this for sake of the long term health of the sub.

Credit limit strategy

Curious to see if anyone has shifted strategy given the longer cool down periods and the shift to second year bonuses.

I just finished my Westpac Velocity Credit Card, which I received 90k points for. The deal is that you get another 60k if you keep the card open for a year. Debating whether to keep it open, it's a relatively low credit limit and I feel I could go through other CC while I wait out the year anniversary bonus. However, if I do this I will forgo potential churn of Westpac in year 2.

Just wondering how people are balancing this change. I'm probably going to go for the NAB QF card next with 100k QF points (15k limit).

Previously I would have cancelled ASAP and gotten a pro-rata refund and moved on.
