Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm swatches 💗

Swipe for swatches of Dear Apple, Kaya Fig and Mauve Whip!

For reference I am of the shade 25N in TirTir Maskfit red cushion and TF foundation in Light Beige. I have neutral tone with olive undertones.

I prefer coral tones and light rosy tones on my lips so I'm loving all of these!

I would rate these 4/5

Pros:

  1. Mild and nourishing

  2. Colors are subtle

  3. Faint fragrance disappears in some time

Cons:

  1. Stickier than other balms I've used

  2. Clumps lightly if you swipe multiple times

My July haul from Tira

I started by adding the Mauve Whip and Kaya Fig combo to my cart. Then went down a rabbit hole of swatch videos on YouTube. I was so intrigued by Dear Apple and Pecan Brew. I doubted if Pecan Brew would be too orange for me, so I settled for Dear Apple.

I used Dear Apple just once on my lips and it looks like a coral shade on me. It is a balm so it's obviously sticky. I tried on 3 coats but the color didn't intensify very much. Again, it's a balm and not a lipstick so that's understandable.

I have posted a pic of Kaya Fig and Mauve Whip together so you can see the subtle difference in shade between them.

Will post a swatch soon, don't wanna swatch all of them today because I'm busy admiring how perfect they look 🥹🫶

ETA: Swatches post is up! Posted it here

Kawaii wholesale import on instagram is a scam

Ordered four items from this store's website on 28 May.

Received the confirmation email.

Post that, no communication from the seller at all. I waited for 8 days and then sent an email. No response. Texted them on WhatsApp. No response. Single tick only. Called their WhatsApp number. They're not picking up.

I spent 855 rupees that I don't think I'll ever see again.

Please avoid buying from this scammer.

My experience with The Sass Bar soap. Do not swipe the pics if you don't wanna see pics of used soap

WARNING: PICS OF USED SOAP IN NEXT SLIDES

I recently fell for the instagram ads run by The Sass Bar soaps and ordered two soaps on Myntra.

The packaging was very cute and the soaps were securely wrapped in cling wrap and bubble wrap over that.

I had a very good experience unwrapping them as they looked so pretty and premium.

But that's where the happiness ended.

I tried out the watermelon slice soap today with a lot of expectations because I paid 292 for one soap and it better deliver, right?

Well it didn't.

The soap did not lather well, and the suds were very few so it was hard to spread around.

The fragrance was not that notable either. It did not have a memorable scent and it was just meh.

I literally used it once and kept it on a soap dish away from the shower but by the time I finished my shower (10 mins tops) the soap had started to melt heavily.

The black "seeds" part was sticky even though I had only used the flat under-part of the soap as advised by the brand on the packaging.

The black seeds made a mess and stuck to my hands, then the sides and under-part of the soap started melting.

I tried to dry the soap off by gently pressing against a towel and the red color transferred to the towel lol 🥲

After that I tried to bring it out of the bathroom and my hands were all soapy from the melting mess. I placed it on a clean hanky and turned the fan on to dry it.

I don't look forward to bringing my soap out to dry under the fan everyday 😑

You can see from the pic that it has started to disintegrate on all sides.

And mind you, this is from just ONE use!

The soap just melts like butter when you touch it and there is wastage of product because it sticks everywhere.

Now I'm terribly disappointed and my mom tells me that this is a lesson for me to not go behind pretty things at face value 🙃
