considering makita and milwaukee over dewalt purely because these have a handheld blower (for cleaning cameras, and inside my pc) in the lineup and dewalt just seems to have skipped it…
my dad used to have a bunch of tools that went missing as soon as he passed — I’m going to be using these around the house and his advice was always: “buy the better tool so that when you need it you’re not looking for someone to borrow it from”.
where I’m coming undone is buying a drill driver versus a drill and a driver separately? XGT/MAX is the premium end of these tools, right, but around the house do I need to be concerned with the lifespan of these tools? I can’t see myself needing to drill into concrete right now… but maybe one day…
if you have experience with this I’d love to hear it, please.
