Signed drum head

Hey! I bought this used and signed Bring Me the Horizon drum head at their Stockholm show in 2016 during the That’s The Spirit tour.

The merch staff said it had been used at the Estonia show a day or two before. It has 5 signatures and the That’s The Spirit umbrella logo on it.

I’m trying to figure out if young little me got scammed or if it is legit :)

Any help appreciated!

Bring Me The Horizon have joined Pride of Yorkshire

Meet dreamseeker - the band's specially designed lion for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity's Pride of Yorkshire trail.

Named after the opening track on Post Human: Nex Gen, the sculpture was designed by drummer @/mickypickles and brought to life by Sheffield artist @/enso.enso.enso.

Inspired by the idea of a forgotten landmark, dreamseeker is covered in moss and graffiti - with hidden nods for fans to discover.

You'll be able to find dreamseeker on the trail from 8 June, as 150 lions roar across South Yorkshire to celebrate 150 years of Sheffield Children's Hospital.

After the trail, sculptures will be sold at auction.

Will this be on your trail list?

Ascension Program 2 Merch Re-stock

Hey guys, I just wanted to see if anyone had any insight or thoughts on whether or not the Programmed to Suffer shirt from this leg of the tour would be restocked any time soon or if i’m SOL. Thought the design looked awesome but waited a bit too long to buy it off their site and they didn’t have it at Rockville when I went.

Bring Me The Horizon — Chelsea Smile (vocal cover) pls listen? It would be really cool

hey all! I covered one of the best songs from Suicide Season.

I put a lot of effort into this, and it took a couple tries to get right lmfao (it’s one take) but I wanna share this with you all cos I feel like I owe it to my younger self.

Kind of stopped making covers randomly out of the blue. Mightve been due to teenage angst n that whole spew. I’m a bit rusty though but I will get it back. Just going to keep pumping these out until I’ve done em all

Pray For Plagues (raw, one take vocal cover) [see caption]

Delete if not allowed:

# So this was recorded with my phone, in my car. No microphone, no editing, all one take.

Hearing how BMTH is re-recording \*Count Your Blessings\* I had to give this a try. I’ve only ever covered stuff from There is a Hell, and Sempiternal, and one song from Suicide Season. Never really posted any of them cause the internet can be ruthless.

I’ve always wanted to make music, just never really had the means to do so. It was my dream growing up. I used to dance around in my room like a fool with a mic not even plugged in. 14 years old imagining that one day I’d be doing it \*for real\*. Well, life started life-ing and before I knew it, without even realizing I had given up on it. Well years and years go by (I’m 26 now) I saw BMTH live at Rockville 2026 and it woke something up that I feel was dormant in me.

I’m a dad now and shit isn’t slowing down. I figured I owe it to myself.. and even more my kid to at **LEAST** try.

Give it a listen? Tell me what you think?

L.I.v.e. In São Paulo - what was interactive?

I saw the concert in a movie theatre. Great show and a great ‘movie’, hoping it becomes available for purchase before Father’s Day!

Anyway, at the beginning of the movie they showed a QR code on the screen with some kind of message for us to scan it. Being a nice polite Canadian, I had turned my phone off and put it away. It was gone from the screen before I could scan it. What did I miss out on? I’m assuming that it was the “interactive” part because the rest wasn’t really interactive.

Can anyone please explain (like i'm 5) the BMTH lore and storyline with the album art etc.

I have been a fan of BMTH for YEARS but I never paid much attention to the storylines with the characters, artwork, etc. I went to see them twice this past tour and the shows were incredible but I was definitely lost when it came to the intermissions and videos. I don't understand (or know much about) the girl with the stitched forehead that is on a lot of the merch, and all that stuff.

Hindsight is 20/20

Man it kind of sucks that I borderline gatekept this band when I was younger. I’ve always been a metal fan but I remember when bring me came onto the scene and without really listening to them I brushed them off because they had such an over the top “scene” look. I immediately thought they suck because they have a certain look and it’s cool to hate them. It really wasn’t until sempiternal that I became a fan because the album is just amazing. Been a die hard pretty much since then but when I did finally go back and listen to the first 3 albums boy was I disappointed in my younger self for not giving them a shot as they fell right into the sound bubble of metal that I loved sonically. Had a chance to see them at sick new world this year in Vegas and they blew me away. So I’m just here to apologize for 18-21 year old me who shat on this community early on. So with that said sorry yall were right all along.

CYFMH Rosemont, IL

I took this video from the pit. It was my first BMTH show after being a fan since the MySpace days and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to see them again 🤘

Why is BMTH seem like they’re catching a lot of hate lately?

So, I’ve returned, with more probably critical opinions that not a lot of people are going to agree with (check my other BMTH album and song ranking for context). However, I think there’s a new topic we need to discuss. So, my amazing girlfriend of a year and half, has surprised me for my birthday with tickets to Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL, to finally see Bring Me The Horizon, after 16 consecutive years of being in love with this band. I’ve checked out Furnace Fest’s Reddit page to see what really I’m looking at and what to expect, as I live in the rural Alabama country, not a lot of heavy metal festivals around. I was then greeted by, quite a bit of negative feedback from FF’s (Furnace Fest) lineup of bands. From people saying the festival has turned from a “underground metal festival for up and coming bands” to a corporate fed festival, mainly taking shots at BMTH, Motionless In White, A Day to Remember, and Slaughter to Prevail. A very great amount of that hate, was directed at BMTH. So, let’s have the discussion: Why does BMTH receive so much hate lately?

I believe a reason BMTH receives so much hate, is kind of an obvious reason: they blew the fuck up. BMTH was a very popular band for a very long time but, I’ve noticed a big spike in views and popularity after the Gigachad meme came about with “Can you feel my Heart” in the background. A lot of people found out who BMTH is and that was a tremendous help of making BMTH bigger in not only the metal genre, but music in general. Their music is very heavily played on the radio. So, here’s come the hipsters. “BMTH are sellouts!”, “They’re only good album is Count Your Blessings”, such as that. They kind of had a Sleep Token effect in a way. The band had a cult following, blew up on social media, and now they’re receiving global attention, while the underground nerds get butthurt because God forbid they’re getting paid at lot more for appearances.

Another reason, they say BMTH went too soft, too radio-friendly, too mainstream. “BMTH was only good back in the days of CYB and SS” they say. Yes, they did get a little more radio-friendly. My question is: why are we judging an album that took 3+ years of hard work from the band, and refusing to appreciate the level of creativity and effort put in for, an album (while it’s a great album) was done in very little time and was very rushed? To be honest, while I really enjoy BMTH’s heavier sound, I do really enjoy their modern music as well, for the creativity and effort they do to get us a great album.

That’s all I have for this post, and I am very well aware that there is probably way more reasons people are hating BMTH, so you guys drop your opinions down below. Why do you think BMTH is receiving all this hate? Do you find the hate they get annoying? What’s are some things you would tell someone that is a BMTH hater?

Hope you guys are having a good day/night! Let me know if you’re going to see them at Furnace Fest!

ALL HAIL NEX_GEN.
