For reference I’m located in Northern California. I currently work as a seasonal fire fighter making approx 65-70 k a year after tax. Since starting I had a baby and got married, these two lady’s are the most important things in my life and I want to be around more instead of being gone for months on fires. What are some viable career options with similar pay, year round, and good benefits. I don’t mind working in the trades I just don’t know of their are apprenticeships that pay enough to keep me on my feet. I’m open to anything achievable without a degree at this time.
